Very nice place but when I went to the butchery for getting the fresh chicken cut, the guy who cuts asked me to pay for it in the cash counter along with the cutting charges and come back. I am surprised that there are charges for cutting and going to the counter which is far off and coming back to get it cut was a bit much so left the chicken at his counter. He asked us (rudely) to put it back which is again a good distance at the other end. The chicken should be available near the butchery and I don't blame the staff as he is doing what he is asked by the management except that he can be a bit more friendly to the customer.. gor my chicken at Lulu in the end..

Vegetables and fruits have a lot of variety and are relatively cheaper. With Tamayuz card you can save extra. Has almost everything available in abundance. Half price meat days are my favorite.

This is a huge hupermarket occupying the central part of Al Barsha mall. Usually crowded, it has a separate department for electronic devices and home appliances. Prices are good and the variety of the products is really big. Helpful staff and easy parking make this place a really pleasant shopping experience.

Very good supermarket with so many choices for the items. The fruits and vegetables are very fresh. Their range of products of different origin is varied. Union coop needs to have more outlets accessible to majority of the public. The one in Barsha is not in a popular location and those who don't have a car may opt out from going there.

The worst kind of cashiers you can find in UAE. I am not generalizing it, there is one particular cashier name Juvy, staff ID 432533 never moves from her chair in the counter, throwing every product that you buy immeterial of what it is all about and what it is made of whether detergent or fresh food all into the same cover. Full of pride and arrogance. I have named her with her ID no just for the authorities to take action. I waited for the store manager/ supervisor, no one turned even after 20 minutes of wait. If Union coop is keen about customer satisfaction, let them act upon this.

Almost everything you need in your household, all under one roof.
The fruits and vegetables are of the highest quality albeit at a slightly higher rate.
Very rarely is it as crowded as other supermarkets in Al Barsha and hence we prefer going there at most times in comparison.
The deals on household consumables is generally better than the other supermarkets too.

Great hypermarket/mini mall for necessities. I always find what I want here only issue is parking lot you have to keep looking for a while to find parking. Other than that great place for all supermarket needs.
