It is a known fact that I am not too impressed with the service industry in this part of the world.
However, today's experience at Toyota UAE RAK workshop has pleasantly challenged my views.
For starters:
1. I did not book an appointment beforehand, so I called the Service Adviser to ask if I could come by for a major service. He obliged. This is NOT POSSIBLE in the Dubai showroom.
2. I was made very comfortable at the showroom as soon as I entered - tea/coffee/water - chit chat with the Manager, etc. Dubai showroom makes you wait endlessly.
3. When I asked if there was a coffee shop nearby to wait while my car was being serviced, they offered to drop me to a nearby mall. WOW. This NEVER happens in Dubai.
4. After regaling me with random banter, the driver insisted on dropping me home. How sweet! So I saved my taxi bucks. :D
5. The car was ready 3 hours before schedule, and I get a call asking me if they could send me a pick up to the showroom. *tears of joy*
Now that is some service!
Friends, I highly recommend you get your Toyotas serviced at RAK. Showroom is open on Friday and Saturday as well. They have some awesome incentives for pre-booked appointments as well. :D

I have been using their services from 2009 and I am very happy with their services from the beginning. But I found the Company services are little expensive. Company Staff is very punctual and give vehicle delivery on time. Their full staff is very co-operative, kind well spoken especially Mr. Praveen n Mr. Kamal. I am very happy with their services. I've been their client for a year and a half now. I filed one complaint before and they tried to resolve the issue. This time, I was impressed with their service. Mr Senthil, the manager was making sure the clients are well attended to. All of the staff are very accommodating. I must say, they improved. I just hope that they continue to do an excellent service to keep the clients happy.
