  I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sumosan and I have to say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was simply amazing - each dish was not only beautifully presented, but also bursting with flavor. I was blown away by the quality of ingredients used, which were clearly of the highest standard.
  
  The menu offers a range of Japanese dishes, each prepared with care and attention to detail. The sushi was particularly outstanding - each piece was expertly crafted and absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the selection of appetizers such as the beef tacos & prawns and the mains such as black cod, which were all incredibly delicious and satisfying.
  
  Beyond the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely. The decor was sleek and modern, and the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
  
  Overall, I would highly recommend Sumosan to anyone looking for an exceptional fine dining experience. It truly deserves 5 stars for its incredible food, top-notch ingredients, and impeccable service.

  We dined at Sumosan a few nights ago! Located in the Dubai Edition in downtown Dubai, this contemporary Japanese restaurant serves up some incredible sushi and sashimi and an array of innovative Japanese dishes created by Executive Chef Bubker Belkhit.
  
  The restaurant is stylish and inviting! Their culinary offerings are excellent - We loved everything from the starters to the dessert! A must try is the sushi, the crab leg and the miso cod. 👌👌👌 The vibe is great and the service is on point too!

  Mouthwatering food and very kind staff.
  
  I came with my friends to have some bites but we ended up having a feast.
  
  We were welcomed by a beautiful wooden entrance with very friendly hostesses and Myke (turns out he’s the GM) but I didn’t know.
  
  We had a couple of drinks at the bar while waiting for everyone to arrive.
  
  I’m not a big fan of sake but their cocktails are so good, I had two sake drinks!
  
  I had a look at their menu and there wasn’t much I could eat as a vegan, however! Big surprise, Myke was asking us for allergies or dislikes, etc. and I mention I don’t eat meat/dairy, he said don’t worry, we’ve got a whole vegan menu 👏 that made my night.
  
  This wasn’t just some random vegan dishes, it was a well thought and elaborated menu
  
  There was sushi, salad, and an avocado pizza! (Not your traditional pizza) but still amazing.
  
  Later, we had noodles and some insanely fried tofu (mouth-weathering while thinking about it now) again, not just some random foods from traditional menu without the meat or dairy.
  
  Oh, I almost forget about the cocktails.
  
  Whatever you want, you name it, they’ll make it. I enjoyed from margaritas to espresso martinis and Bellinis! I also had something with lychee but can’t remember what it was 😅
  
  Back to the food:
  Broccolini with garlic 👏
  Shiitake sushi 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
  Avocado sushi 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
  The dumplings! 🙌🏻
  
  Now it’ll be hard to go to another Japanese resto without thinking of Sumosan 😅
  
  So next time you feel like having great food, amazing views of the burj and pretty cocktails, get yourself to this new hot spot at the Edition Hotel Downtown!
  
  Special thanks to Myke (again) for his amazing hospitality and genuine interest on making sure the guest have good food in this great atmosphere, as well as Dimitri and Dan who took care of our table the whole night like no one else 🙌🏻.
  
  Looking forward to going back soon.
  
  Google has only 5* but Sumosan deserves 10* 👏

  We really enjoyed our dinner at Sumosan!
  
  The restaurant had a great selection of Japanese fusion cuisines, it was hard to choose! Dimitri our waiter was exceptionally great in helping us choose some of the best dishes available all the way down to the deserts!
  
  The tacos and nigiri are deff the best by far and a must try!
  
  I would deff be back to try even more dishes

  Absolutely amazing experience and beautifully designed. The food is not only amazing its also artistic as well! The servers were super nice too!
