  I am Graduated civil engineering and working in UAE. I need to get SOE membership. But, my visa is technician. Is it possible to get SOE membership?

  This is the only engineering association in the UAE. Their website is out dated which requires an overhaul to stop it from crashing and to improve the user experience. However, after a few months of constant follow up and getting a new requirement after every call I made; I went to their office in Dubai, Al Qusais to submit my documents and was expecting to be attended by one of the customer service agents but they were busy chatting behind the counter and I was only attended by the security who took my documents to the room inside for verification. After getting that done, I was shocked by how unprofessional the accountant was who’s asked me to make the payment. The way he’s asked me for money I felt like I was defaulting on a loan payments or a criminal or something like that. I asked him if he was okay because the way he’s asked for money is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. So don’t be shocked if the accountant makes you feel weird. You’d need to pay AED 200 extra if you would want to receive your membership card on the spot, otherwise you will need to wait for 5 business days to get it delivered to you.

  Good services but not friendly staff as few staff's treat the customers like they are the boss and affiliated members are fool's Officials should teach their staff that how to behave with customers..

  Currently i am in Abu Dhabi, is there any way to get the membership without going to Dubai. Any office in Abu Dhabi?
