Excellent atmosphere with a wide open roof that let's you experience the starlit skies of Majaz from all angles. Most shows are after 7 PM (from my knowledge) and the lighting effects are fabulous. The seating is literally just cloth cushions that are placed directly on the stone steps of the amphitheatre (other than the centre row platinum seats right in front of the stage) but nonetheless they're reasonably comfortable even during long shows. There are two screens on either side on the stage that provide a close-up view of the performers for the back row seats. Gold and VIP/platinum ticket holders get free parking inside the amphitheatre.

Excellent new venue for Sharjah. Emili Sande' concert was well organised and setting was perfect. More concerts and other events should be held throughout the year.

Al Majaz Amphitheatre on Al Majaz Island has emerged as a major cultural and intellectual destination another point of the bright face of the cultural places in Sharjah, By day this is a quiet place to have a lovely walk along the Khalid Lake. The restaurants have lovely view of the Fountain and the Al Majaz Amphitheatre. The Amphitheatre host many open events around the year, also it is perfect to spent time their with friends and family
