Went for an event, it was Prabhu Deva's live dance concert. The place is a open ground, convenient to arrange event for 15K people. Parking facility is poor. You need to park far and walk all the way.

A bit far from Dubai and much smaller than I thought. Getting a taxi back to Dubai after game was very tricky, a bit chaotic. Not enough food stalls. The newer Dubai cricket stadium is much better.

For such a classic cricket stadium,i feel it should be maintained more often. Or maybe renovated.

Even with tickets we were not allowed inside. The cops outside were very rude and pushing family's aside. A simple conversation was also not possible with the unprofessional and uncultured security guards.

It's a small stadium. But it's famous because most number of one day matches were played here. Also many India vs Pakistan matched were played here as it was safe and close to both countries.

If you want to watch match - advise is go by taxi - despite of 15000 capacity hardly 200 Car can parked inside that too if you have VIP pass. Otherwise you have to spent lot of time to search parking & park you car near football club & Madina cricket academy walking distance from this parking to venue is 15-20 min .

The must go place for a cricket lover.. The Guinness world record stadium for hosting the highest number of one day international matches.
Sachin's great innings of 1992 or a last ball six from Miadaad. What a history of this ground.

As such there is no official arrangement to visit this ground but still u can sneak into it when there are no matches on.

A worth memory to carry on!!!

The iconic cricket stadium. It's quite old now and the seating facilities are not up to the mark. Msintainence is not carried out properly. But it carries the same atmosphere when matches are played as it used to in it's prime.

Nice stadium, been there for last asiavision awards. May be you need to walk a bit from parking but it is ok. Try to reach 15 to 20 mins before gate close so that you can park and walk 😀

Once upon a time sharjah was one of most favored cricket venues for the world cricket, recent times not too much on spot light after the opening of modern stadiums in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the stadium still keeps a nostalgic feel , especially among the Indian and Pakistani cricket fans, the pitch is maintained well and the outfield is lush green , often stadium used for club matched and cricket coaching classes

If you are lucky you will be able to see the flood lights on and some game going on. The tickets are cheap and at times have free entry as well. You can imagine all the big games between the asian countries played here and still see its fresh amongst the staff there.
