We had done a booking for 25 people for a desert safari with them. What a let down! Their performances were below par. We didn't even get proper tables so that we could sit together. It was so so crowded. A few years back I had gone for a desert safari with a smaller operator. They were so good. So definitely a big NO to Rayna tours.

Very expensive, and not worth it at all. I have also noticed that many other reviewers have had the same issue as me, and I suggest the people managing this to look into this.

I suggest the quad biking, even though very expensive, but lots of fun. There are options for one seater, two seater and four. There is a big ground of sand and hills to drive around, and there are staff all over to help whenever needed. Those people did not let us through to even take pictures, forget switching with the people who we paid to drive, but let other people to do so, which was so unfair.

There is a portion where after the quad biking, the driver will drive over sand hills, which is also fun, going fast, making sharp turns, but it was risky as there were many many other cars around doing the same.

There were so many false promises made by the tours and drivers. They said that the camel rides are amazing, and if you paid with the package, the camel ride will be amazing. When we went to the place, it was just one round which did not even last 2 minutes.

They also said their own camp was closed as the camp was burnt on fire, so many people were transferred to another camp. This caused the camp to be heavily crowded.

The biggest problem was that an even though the food was included in the package, all the INCLUDED starters and drinks were only to be ordered by the driver. Our driver, Abdul was missing the entire time, so another driver got us the starters.

About the food, my family is vegetarian, and for a high rated and well known tour, we all expected some vegetarian option, and I do agree that I did not expect it to be great, as the staff focus on non vegetarian food. There was no vegetarian option at all (for the starters).

There is normally a welcome drink, tea and pakoras. It was all finished by the time we went to the seats, and me and my family were the first to enter the camp. After one hour, they offered tea and coffee, which we needed to get ourselves, and there were only two places to get the coffee and tea. Not only was it crowded, but we needed to make the tea and coffee ourselves. The coffee powder, tea powder, sugar, hot water, and condensed milk. Half of these items were already finished.

There is a small show in two parts. The first part consisted of a belly dance show, which was nice. There was music, which was VERY loud and uncomfortable. They had no sense of volume, and expected us all to be hard of hearing.

After the first part came the buffet. This was a massive mess, because as I said, all the people that were to be put in two camps were put in one camp. Fortunately, we were closest to the buffet line, so we got the food quickly. There were two types of pasta, one very sweet and one normal, noodles, chola, paratha, salad, daal, some types of rice, and vegetables and fruits. Most of it was cold, and many people did not even get to have food because it was finished. Everything I have mentioned till now is vegetarian. There was a non vegetarian barbecue section, with chicken and mutton.

After the buffet came the second part of the show, which was really good. There was a dancer, doing tricks, and after that was a fire show, with two people doing amazing tricks.

After that, it was the end, with many people leaving. Our two drivers, Salman and Abdul were missing for so long, and we were stuck for a long time.

Sub-standard experience - false promises by sales team and pathetic food quality
We booked two excursions on Rayna tours for our recent Dubai trip:
    1) Dhow cruise creek: the buffet food quality was very sub-standard. The speaker system on upper deck were low quality as they were uncomfortably loud and shrilling. Lower deck had air conditioning, upper deck people were not allowed to get to lower deck; while lower deck people had access to upper deck. Lower deck also had DJ arrangement. A lot of difference in upper and lower deck. My personal recommendation is to book lower deck.
    2) Desert Safari: The sales team showed pictures of so called “premium” area, while the area was inaccessible on the package. The tour coordinator assigned to us assured that manager would come and look into the matter who never came. Buggy/ATV rides were expensive and they did not negotiate at all. Food was pathetic and inedible. Worst of all: our belongings (cap, glares) were missing from the car when we reached our hotel. The chauffeur said you must have forgotten these somewhere.

Despite the fact that safari trip was well organized I gave them 1 star. We ordered 6 quad bikes. 4 for kids and 2 for adults. We are 2 moms with 2+ 2 kids. We came there and manager at the premises (or I don't know who) told us that kids having their rides inside the ring and moms are outside the ring. Time for rides 30 min and then dinner. All very fast. I said that I can't leave my 10 years olds along somewhere without supervision and go have fun somewhere outside the area. Manager told us that in this case it is not a problem we can get a refund for 2 adults bikes and will be with kids inside supervising them. I was a bit upset because I wanted a ride too. BUT I WAS MORE UPSET THEN I EMAILED SAME HOUR TO THE OFFICE AND THEY TOLD US WE CANCELED LAST MINUTE and CANT GET ANYTHING!!!

I came again to the management at the dessert on a way back and ask them what was going on. They were rude already and said they have NO TIME FOR THAT (???) AND I HAVE TO DEAL WITH EMAILS . WHAT???

I emailed many times and no one answered.

VERY UPSET. WE HAD NEVER REFUNDED FOR 2 ADULTS QUAD BIKES!!!

The Marina cruise is definitely a one time must do. The Marina views are fascinating, the Tanoura dance amazing as an experience as well. Food was OK, but overall a great experience!

What a great experience! I arranged the Desert Safari for my friends during their first visit to Dubai. They loved it! The merchants at our first stop were a little overbearingyou have to be stern, yet respectful, with them if you are not interested in purchasing. Some of the items they try to make you buy can be found cheaper at the campsite.
