Probably the only hide (there are 3) worth visiting in Ras al Khor. Accessibility is limited if you don't have a personal vehicle (especially when coming from Dubai). Species other than flamingos can be seen on the path leading to the mangrove hide if you have the stamina to walk it out till there.

You can see mostly flamingos only, and from inside a post from a distance ( yesthere is a binocular) not worth for a dedicated trip unless it's on your way. It will take maximum 30 min for whol trip. Good for those who are interested in photographyand the entrance is free of charge

This is an absolute gem! Go between 9am - 10am and 3pm - 4pm to watch all the flamingos fly and walk closer to the observation house. After 10am and 4pm they feed the flamingos which is something you shouldn't miss! If you have a good camera, don't forget to bring it!

A place which you can Visit free of Cost . Plz note Parking is very limited and This place opens at specific timings . Though you will not take more than 15 mins to visit this place .
Washrooms are available but no food or drinks are available. Take your kids in winter season , they will be very happy.response / report this review -

Excellent if basic and saw some really good birds on two visits. Water levels seem to determine what is around at any given time. Wish I'd bought my birding camera

A place to view flamingos and other birds up close. There are 2 observation areas, one can observe the mangroves from cabin 1 and flamingos from cabin 2. Take your own binoculars for a more closer experience, there is one binocular machine on site.
You will need to go there in your own personal car, a taxi might get you there but hailing a taxi during return is difficult.

It is a nice open area of land filled with birds like flamingos. It is a very good and wonderful place for photographers and bird lovers/watchers to come and visit this place.
