Very unhygienic and uncaring. This nursery is the worst thing you can do to your child. Don't waste your money here!! Better keep them at home.
PS: The response from the Owner had come now AFTER AN YEAR, and they claims they made are all incorrect. They didn't even bother to find whether I had enrolled a boy or a girl. The say that I had packed roaches in my sons bag, well I don't have a son, I had enrolled my DAUGHTER for 3 months and 2 weeks, I had paid AED 6120 for the pain that we had with them. This includes all of the tuition fee and transportation, it even includes for the days she was on sick leave. She had learnt NOTHING, eventually she had encountered a severe ASTHMA from the nursery (that she has till date) and that was tipping point when I decided to discontinue before her term had even finished but I had to do it before it too late. Even her personality suffered negatively, she was a active, friendly and caring kid but after she joined She was low energy, unhappy, scared, not confident. The school Staff was never active or communicative, they were sad and I fear abusive as well. I should have asked for a refund but money would not mend the damage, however i'm shocked that you accused me of not paying her fees. This is how you blackmail Parents to close their case. I am going to report your Nursery to Ministry of Education.
friendly and dedicated staff. very clean nursery.kids are safe.
A nursery is a fun and bright environment which provides the backdrop for more effective learning. Play days British Nursery has definitely provided a good learning backdrop for my twin sons.
Since joining the nursery one year back, both the boys have developed positively in many ways. They picked up English speaking ability, became more social, interactive and confident and have had a positive experience. Both the boys enjoy and look forward to going to the nursery everyday.
My husband and I are happy with the teaching at the nursery too. They use art and craft and children learn through play, songs, stories, excursions and more.
We would definitely recommend this nursery to others, without batting an eyelid.
Thank you Playdays British Nursery.
This noble institution is one of the best schools where our kids can go too without any regrets. I love this Nursery.
Very unhygienic and uncaring. This nursery is the worst thing you can do to your child. Don't waste your money here!! Better keep them at home.
Helpful staff and principal with spacious rooms and compound. Recommended for cost conscious parents. They also actively inform babies situation in case the baby feels sick or whatever. I appreciate their services.
Yes I agree with Mr rajab. they not look after your baby alsoif any thing bad happen with your child they didn't informed you.my baby vomited one day. ..they didn't change her dress properly .when I asked this then as usual they didn’t have any knowledge about that .. we recommend don't send ur child this kind of school
one or two british teachers for whole school /lots of students are there but kids are not encouraged to communicate with each other. No planned activities or learning keep repeating the same thing every week.
As a British national it was extremely difficult to find a nursery in Sharjah that had British teachers and followed the UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum . Playdays offfers both these things.
My son has attended the nursery for 2.5 years and I'm am extremely happy with the service they have provided, the nursery has welcoming friendly staff , I've always found the teachers and staff extremely approachable. It offers a wide range of activities on a daily basis and has lovely outdoor play areas. the fees are extremely reasonable lower than the other nurseries in the area.
What I particularly liked was the children are taken on trips which my son loves.
I would have no hesitation recommending this nursery to anyone looking for a good nursery in Sharjah/Ajman
I totally agree with Mr. Rajab. They're only concerned about fees . No weekly updates on progress, no parent teacher meeting . My child was there for about 18 months i was never called for the meeting. I was never shown how my child is performing. Overall I would say it's waste of your hard earned money.
This is a good school. Someone mentioned its expensive but i think its great value for money considering their standards.
Well to evaluate this nursery you have to look for its pros and cons. Indeed, there are a lot of disadvantages like the following:
1- They do not publish photos for kids to make their families feel happy. One time they took my child to Sharjah Discovery Centre, and they did not show us any photo or at least put it in their facebook
2- They do not care about your child whether he came or not or feeling sick. The only matter they care about is to pay the monthly due
3- They rent buses for kids transportation and those mini buses are not safe at all. The bus driver do not speak English nor Arabic and a lady in the bus who takes care of kids always feeling bored and not talking to kids like nannies
4- Monthly progress reports are not effective, filled randomly without assessing a kid precisely. If you go to the nursery to discuss the report with a teacher, a teacher can barely remember your child
5- They can put 15 kids in one small room and keeps accepting new joiners
For advantages:
1- It is spacious and clean from inside
2- Car Parking in front and beside the villa
3- Nursey contains two villa with extra space
It's in review to Mr. Mohammed Rajab, as a parent I have enrolled my 3rd child this year in Playdays. I am definitely inspired by their policies and completely satisfied through past 7 years. When I saw such a negative comment, I got really surprised and discussed. First the photos of children is not obligatory to be posted on facebook and that's a free service not included in enrollment fee. If your child was sick then you had to inform the nursery as every one in summer has been availing vacations. I have checked with them and mini buses are being used to reach children's home in a quicker manner rather than the school buses which are taking 2-3 hours for dropping children due the number of children and long routes. Monthly progress reports can't be judged properly for those children who are irregular. There are particular number of children assigned to the classes and I have never seen such type of load. For the pest control you can check their municipal contract and stop creating rumors. I recommend Playdays to all other parents who really want some thing better for the future of their children.
