Your little bungalow in the desert.
Each room has a kitchen with a fridge freezer, oven and stove top, kettle, toaster and microwave.
Ac units in the living room and bedroom.
The wifi services do not work for me so I had to bring my own router to have wireless access in my own room but have not really tried to rectify this myself.
Living room is decent sized and has a comfy sofa, TV looks ok but i use netflix so havent used that yet.
Cleaning staff drop off plenty of bottled water everyday and laundry service runs 2 times a week.
My bed is a memory foam matress so it is very comfortable for me.
Wash room has a sitting toilet with batet and shower with decent water pressure. Bring your own shower gel as only soap is provided.
Food is pretty decent in my opinion and breakfast, lunch and dinner are catered for but if you work strange hours the staff will let you pack food for later if you ask them.
Mall is a 20 minute walk away across the desert which is very doable in the winter.
Inside the camp stick to the pathways as the sand my look dry but can be very slippery/ muddy in places.
There is a small swimming pool, small gym, table foot ball and a pool table here. There are also basket ball courts and football courts here.
It's no Ritz Carlton but.. I mean it's a cabin in the desert.response / report this review -

Compound at Ruwais, close to the refinery plants.
It's very clean, well organized and tidy. The houses are like well modified containers with smart design and details: full air conditioning, free wifi, good full equipped kitchen, satellite TV (Euronews, arabic speaking channels and Deutsche Welle), nice living room with dining table and spacious bedroom with bathroom in-suite.
They have a catering service. However, the food is too spicy for me but delicious for local people. Also they have a small gym, swimming pool and a play room.
They have a laundry service and the cleaning is daily and good.
There are plenty places for parking under shadow. They have security men taking care of who enters or exit the compound.
All the staff is very friendly and ready to support you or help on whatever you may need.
My special thanks to the manager Mr. Moshin Altaf and to Mr Raa Jip Rana for all their efforts to make posible we have a pleasant and happy time during our stay.response / report this review -
