Decent bar to grab a drink. Usually lively on weekends, bands are normally good. Good selection of beers but prices are higher than average. Never had the food. Worth a visit.

Ok so let's be honest here. It's not haute cuisine and top of the range ambience but sometimes - that's ok. If you want good, honest down to earth British food then Nell Gwynne is the place to be. The combo roast was AED58 - for 3 different meats with all the traditional trimmings including apple sauce, horseradish and mustard. The chef has been here now for sometime and every week it's the same standard. I've never had a bad meal all the times I have visited over the last 3 years. Add in happy hour beers for AED25 and you simply can't go wrong!

A good sports with cool bands, waiters and waitresses are very helpful "at least most of them" they have sometimes very good offers but not on the weekends off course.
Anyways if you are planning to have pint and watch a match this would be a perfect place.

Staff used to be lovely here, not now, personal touch has gone amiss. The bar is like any english bar in Dubai. A smoking area would be welcome but not a criticism for me, just eliminates any families. Came here over the last 3 years 20+ times, never saw a child so I guess don’t bring yours.

Food is okay, fine if paying lunch happy hour prices, after this it’s extortionately priced for pub grub.

Very smokey bar, and the Heineken tasted off. Door staff are a bit of a joke as well, harassing me all the time, to the point where I had enough. Much better places to go than this, really wouldn’t bother.

What you'd expect, good food and drinks. Fun on game nights. Better like smoke, it's a bar.

It's not like it used to be They treat you well these days..no attitude problems ..their choice of music is great .. the live band is good, there is also change of staff etc the food tastes much better, and they are served well & happy hours are very affordable - do re visit !
