THE WORST PATIENT SERVICE EVER. despite having their vision of ... At NMC Healthcare, we guarantee personalised care, genuine concern ??? REALLY??? - I don't think they live committed in their vision as it seem their staff are INCOMPETENT TO SERVE!!! I don't think they offer genuine concern to patients considering people go to hospital to seek medical ATTENTION! My personal experience are having a confirmed cardio specialist and when I arrived the doctor is on vacation and they have no idea what to do. second, I seek Ortho appointment and was suggested for an MRI and when the approval came out on 15th of May & NO ONE BOTHER TO NOTOFY ME that it has been approved not until I personally called 2 weeks after to follow-up on what's going on, then they started playing departmental blame game and eventually added me to their appointment. Third, IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT UNTIL now (another 2 weeks after MRI) no one has yet to contact me on the result of my MRI nor at least notify me to see my doctor, or perhaps check if I'm still alive How would I know isn't? - Absolutely WORST MEDICAL SERVICE EVER in ABU DHABI!!!

Worst Experience | Google + pharmacy is better option than NMC Royal Khalifah City.
    - Nurses are acting like rude shop keepers, Always Bullying and Hazing.
    - A lack of care and compassion, such as staff not doing enough to ensure the patient was comfortable.
    - Inadequate response to requests or complaints.

A lack of interest, poor management and “ZERO” chance of improvement.

Don’t know why people are giving 5 stars, maybe dur to architecture or staff only.

No option to give Zero or half Star therefore giving 1.

Big hospital with loads of facilities but under staffed, came here 4 times and you will need minimum of 1 to 2 hours of waiting and up to 3 hours in peak times like afternoon and evening in emergency room. After midnight not much but depending on how many people are there. Other clinics same thing if they are not over booked then you have to wait for long time, call before leaving home to see if they will accept you. so unless it's life and death situation I recommend you find other hospital.

Had very bad experience today at NMC in Khalifa City. Staff are very unprofessional and need more training on dealing with customers/patients. I have booked an appointment with Dr. Dinish ( from my experience he is the best Pediatrics Doctor), when I reached the hospital they told me that my appointment was cancelled with Dr. Dinish and sent me to see another doctor. Why couldn’t they call me over the phone and inform me that doctor will not be available, I had to come all the way and my intention was to see Dr. Dinish, that’s why I specifically booked an appointment with him.
That doctor sent us for some laboratory tests (for 1.5 year old baby). They don’t have separate lane for children, we had to wait 1.5 hours to be seen by the nurse. One nurse (Sharina)after checking arms of my baby couldn’t get the blood, then called another nurse (Charissa) who also only put stress on the baby and myself, and of course, couldn’t collect any blood. Very inexperienced nurses they have. Hospital should have separate lane for children and experienced nurses too. Reception staff in laboratory are not welcoming, rude and not helpful at all. I told receptionist Wafaa that I have to feed my baby and can’t wait for long, however my request was ignored. In front of us they had patients who they may be know, who went to the blood collection rooms without waiting. When I asked them why didn’t they wait in lane, I was told that they had different tests that couldn’t wait. And mother with the little baby had to wait for 1.5 hours !!! They made me pay for the tests, while the blood was not collected for all the tests. This was my experience today with my baby.

Another experience I had couple of months back. Visited ENT clinic and met Egyptian doctor ( head of the department, don’t remember his name). He put for me wrong diagnosis, saying that I had allergies and in reality I had bacterial infection after all the tests that I have done in the different hospital. He prescribed completely different treatment!

Since I put all my experience, I will add the one that I had 1 year back. My baby had severe allergic reaction and ambulance brought her to NMC in Khalifa. Reception staff were careless and told me that I need to wait for 1 hour, since at night they only have few doctors who were busy. Finally, doctor met us and put us in the hospital room for a check up. We stayed in that room for more than 4 hours, not a single doctor came to check on my baby, only nurses, who kept repeating that doctor was busy.

The only doctor that I would recommend is Dr. Dinish. The rest are careless. It’s a nice, new hospital with good facilities, but staff are very rude, inexperienced and ignorant. May be management could provide more trainings and rearrange the structure. For children to wait that long it’s unacceptable, more unacceptable is to have nurses in blood collection room who don’t even know their job. I have been to many government hospitals in Abu Dhabi and they always could collect blood from first try, with confidence and no stress for the baby and the mother.

This is my feedback, hope it helps others

He checked my baby and did some tests then he explained with patience that his every report is normal , as we were worried that the bilirubin level was high from the previous report from xxx hospital.. It was our pleasure to Meet Dr.Dinesh.

THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR VALUABLE SERVICE.

New hospital, huge place, powerfull facilities, but unqualified administration.
Unrespect patients appointments, slow process, weak sms reminders.
The staff and medical board are well qualified, but I think administration should be changed.
They need to enhance work process.

they are very friendly. the staff are polite and always smiling. it's good to come here when you are sick because you do not feel like you are in a hospital. even the music around the hospital is relaxing. the doctors are good also they treat me very good. my doctor said no need for a follow up but i don't mind coming back for a follow up check up because service is very good.

I have been fortunate to have found the NMC Royal Hospital following numerous searches for good medical facilities and doctors since arriving in the UAE. Excellent service at the emergency room when my daughter fell and have also been been to see the Ophthalmologist and had my regular tests for glaucoma. I have found the staff to be friendly and efficient from administration through to medical staff. Thank you

Have visited this hospital several times in the last 3 months with my friend whose baby was born here. If you ask me like an observer, i think this hospital has a great infrastructure. However felt that it needs more experienced doctors and other support staff. With such improvements this can surely become world class

They have very low experience in every field ...I can't describe how slow they are processing your stuff ...if you have a medical emergency don't bother coming here...you will end up waiting for hours and I'm not exaggerating to get a doctor..it happened number of times on me personally.

No matter how much faith you have that service and staff will improve within the upcoming months; it always stays the same without any improvement being done. For a fact I'm surprised how careless are they not taking initiative to fix the LONG WAIT. It is sad to see a good hospital being run with a poor staff. Goes below my expectations every time I visit the emergency department.

Really not happy with this hospital at all, it's as if the doctors and staff don't care at all. My heavily pregnant wife was left to sit for hours for an ultrasound, only to be told that there was no one to do it. If you make an appointment, then it should be honoured! I'm quite angry about this, and considering looking elsewhere. Really not acceptable treatment.
Please take note of your reviews, 3.1 is pretty diabolical. Maybe you need to review your management.

My 18 month old son was admitted a few weeks ago. He was very poorly and had to have emergency surgery. This was a very tough time for all of us. However the doctors were absolutely amazing and treated my little one as If they were looking after there own child. Dr Dinesh and Dr Gebran I cannot thank enough for there hard work and dedication into looking after my baby. I cannot thank them enough. They have the best communication and always kept us informed of what was going on. I cannot thank them enough. Thank you so so much.

Good building, polished walls and tiles, but poor administration, and worst nursing staff. Give one time for surgery, you reach and it's delayed without any reason. They scheduled my five years old son' s tonsil surgery at 8 a.m .they advised us to bring him 8 hour starve.we reached timely with my son awake and starving just to know that surgery has been delayed to 10 am and my son has to starve for two more hours.do they realize how difficult is to keep a toddler hungry and thirsty when he is awake and really feeling hunger or thirst? Nursing staff is incompetent and totally inexperienced. Four nurses took one hour to set a canola on my son's arm and caused many bruises and made him cry a hell out of him for a full hour although he was advised to not cry after tonsil surgery. Food service for admitted patients is worst. They never bother to serve food to the patient timely, damn care how little the patient is and how important the meal is for him. My son got surgery at 10 am, and till 10 pm, they provide food only once. We bought food from market and deposited in icu to refrigerate .but when we needed the food, we rang the bell, requesting for foods, and hardly get before two hours.
