    M/s. FAB bank if someone will be interested to see this complaint and solve it for me from the management because you have the worst customer services ever which they never call back to solve my problem for the last 36 days and i have called and registered my complaint more than 3 times without any feedback ever since . how on earth could the bank charge me late payment for 24 month continuously to be accumulated in a new loan on a quick /easy cash amount transferred from my credit card to my account in a loan shape if the bank deduct a monthly fixed amount on a fixed date chosen by bank itself and in addition to that it was automatically deducted without my interference from my account as agreed with the bank which means i was not late to pay and its your system mistake in order to charge me more fees . your team ignoring my problem and no one called me back to solve it for me . its really disappointment that my bank can't solve a mistake generated by the bank system itself and this mistake gonna cost me money shall be taken from my accounts without any rights .

    In this review I’m going to half to call out some of the employees. The good ones and the bad ones.

    My issue was simple, or so you would think. I deposited a check 3 weeks ago. It was not cleared. I wait two weeks after investigating the issue but no one knows where my check is. I spent another two weeks getting the run around. FAB1 line is not a toll free number and the wait time is ridiculously long. I’ve wasted over 200 dirham over the month trying to find my check. Furthermore they don’t even call you to tell you to come pick-up the check. I have to become a private Investigator and find out myself because the company employees are too incompetent to do their job.

    I finally got fed up from visiting multiple FAB1 branches and being told to go to other branches (a bunch of lazy employees if you ask me who like to deflect work load anywhere but on themselves), and I’ve wasted too much money trying to get a hold of them by phone (seriously… why isn’t it a free line? I mean does FAB1 not value its clients to the point they blatantly choose money over their customers?).

    Anyways I finally got fed up and went to this branch… so called main branch. And immediately when I walk in and inquire where my check is before my number is called out, I’m told, “oh go the Khalifa Park branch… I’m sure that’s where your check is”. That’s how quickly I was deflected… on absolutely zero basis I’m told to take my behind somewhere else. But I stood my ground and told them I’m not running around anymore. I need my check and I need it now. I have every reason to believe the check is here. This is the main branch that I opened my account… or at the very least you guys need to confirm where my check is if not here.

    Two hours of waiting I finally sit down with one of the customer care reps at this location -Hind. This is where the incompetency of many of the employees who work at FAB1 is highlighted. Instead of trying to help me, she interrogates me, “who told you the check was here?” “why did you go to this bank” “why would you do that?” “who told you he check wasn’t cleared?” “what’s their name?”… ten minutes of being talked down on then she has the audacity to tell me to go sit and wait… didn’t even lift a finger to assist me. She just angered me and told me to go away, “We don’t have your check, I called Mu’taz and he said it’s in Mushrif Branch”.

    At this point I lost it and started to question, “based on what? I overheard your conversation with Mu’taz and he’s on annual leave. How the hell can he confirm where my check is from his vacation?” All my screaming got the attention of the branch manager, Raj. At first he was confrontational… but when he understood the situation him another employee (I’m so sorry I forget your name yet you were the most helpful) found my check an hour late. Guess where it was… at that branch I’ve been at for the past three hours.

    Remember, I was told to go Khalifa Park branch and Mushrif branch for no reason other than this bank has incompetent people who don’t deserve to have a job. My check was there the whole time. I have a family and I have work to get to. I can’t keep running around because of lazy people like this. It’s so infuriating that bad customer service provided by Hind and Mu’taz goes unpunished. They need to face some consequences because it is cold-blooded to send somebody around on no basis. That takes time and money, and it’s no joke. It’s so heartless. And remember, I’ve been told to run around by other branches as well, so all FAB1 branches are guilty of having terrible on-site employees.

    Anybody who made this far. DO NOT under any circumstance make an account at this bank. If you like terrible service and getting the run around and losing money in the form of checks, then by all means. Make an account here.

    Anybody who has an account here, CLOSE YOUR account. CANCEL your credit cards with them. I recommend opening ADCB account. That’s who I’m currently in the process of switching to. They are extremely professional and helpful.

    Worst bank ever. I regret to open my account there. Do not advise you to cooperate with them if you want to avoid inconveniences.
    For almost three years only problems and no solution. This bank should either educate employees or replace them with machines. System is awful, support is helpless, customer needs to resolve bank problems himself. It is time to close an account and shift to competitors who offer better customer approach.

    Was not able to get 24/7 call center even after waiting for more than 10 minutes on the phone line on three occasions. All their advisers are always busy! I see this after FGB became FAB. Before the experience was much better and I used to praise their Card product. Finally, I was able to reach on my fourth attempt at sixth minute and the officer served the request fast.

    I suspect their teller stole 500 from me. I deposit on a regular basis for years several times a week and never lost a single fils, except on one ocassion where I did not write the breakdown of the cash in the deposit slip due to being in a hurry (because their bank is closing). I went to the manager but he wouldn't let me see their CCTV recording. On another case, I remember clearly that I gave a certain amount and that the teller forgot to input it on the system and would be clearly seen in their CCTV, yet they said they found no problem when they viewed the recording, then FAB did not do anything about it. It's not a big amount so I just forget it to avoid hassle, but it's not right for them not to do anything about it. The teller is still working after the incident. They just transferred her to a different branch.

    This sky scraper was previously NBAD Head Office after historical merging 2 major banks NBAD & FGB it become FAB.First Abu Dhabi Bank. this unique shaped building built in 2002.
    Still this is one of the tallest building in Abu Dhabi island.
    Currently building Rank is 15th.185 Meters height.
    Tallest building in Abu Dhabi Height is.381 meters Burj Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Tower.

    SHOCKINGLY POOR SERVICE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND GO TO A DIFFERENT BANK!!!
    Some of the things this bank is capable of doing to their client:
    1. Commit to something in writing & then suddenly decide it was a mistake and not deliver on their written commitment leaving you in trouble if you had made any commitment based on a WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM THE BANK.
    2. Be fully aware of their wrong doing, admit the mistakes yet no sense of urgency or ownership to resolve it - it's now been 1 month and all we get is empty promises on weekly basis.
    3. Their employees will harass you via phone calls & whatsapps asking not to launch an official complain in fear of losing their job.
    4. Prevent you from leaving from another bank when you try to do so by refusing to issue no liability letter although they already did so within the last 8 months (it was also a mistake apparently).
    5. Stop answering phone calls, emails, messages leaving you no choice but to go in person and follow up in the branch, wasting your time on top of all the above.

    Absolutely incompetent & unprofessional, never been treated by any other bank like that within UAE or abroad.

    National bank of Abu Dhabi merged with one more bank and new name is First Abu Dhabi Bank. It's head quarters situated at Khalifa street, Abu Dhabi.

    I don't know if NBAD are helping me to fix my problems or they are making it more complicated. I am a regular customer of this bank I pay my bill on time. And am not owing the bank I don't really understand why the staffs of this bank are not helpful. After closing my credit card earlier on the 3rd of December 2014 with all my payments documents with me , then on June 2017 I was trying to apply for a credit card my application was rejected then I asked the bank why my application was rejected they said it is from the credit card department that I should visit them, when I visited them they said I should returned back to the bank that is not from them. I really feel so bad on how the bank are treating me after returning back to the bank they accusing me on delaying my payment. Calling me a liar and jeopardising my image. We all know this problem is a system error all I want is the bank should do the right thing by updating my credit card records, with the credit card departments I will be appreciated if someone competent enough from this bank could look into this case. Because most of the employees from this bank are not helpful they keep on throwing the case on one another. With a blame culture in their department, i really believe if you are competent enough they should not be a blame culture in a professional organisations like a banking sector.

    Worse Bank EVER!
    Useless and low quality customer service!
    NBAD employees are lying all the time.
    Management doesn't care at all and they gave a free will to their employees to cheat customers.
    I can't get a call back from QUEEN of NBAD Ms Amira Saad. She is to busy in Facebook i guess.
    It's been a 1,5 year i can't get rid of this desease called NBAD!
