Booked a deluxe room for 2 adults + 2 kids. Location was nice, view from room was good. Valet parking, swimming pool, small water slide, warm welcome on arrival. Room can be more clean. Buffet international breakfast with very few veg options. Too much crowded in buffet on weekday. Overall - OK.
Been in this hotel a couple of times. The only hotel on top of Jebel Hafeet. It'll be quite a drive going here and back to town. The view from the room is amazing both during daytime and at night. Rooms are dated and old fashion but still nice and clean. It can get really cold during cold seasons. The staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing specially the ones in the reception coz whenever we ask for housekeeping they will always ask "for what?". It's a struggle.
Amazing views! The rooms were immaculate and spacious. The staff was friendly and warm, very helpful. Fantastic food. Definitely worth putting on your list of places to stay.
The hotel is located in the mountains. What makes the stay more relaxing. The view is amazing. A lot of facilities. Table tennis, giant chess, billiard, squash, badminton. Great pool. We catched the sunset what was just wow. Dinner was great. We had lobsters): very tasty. Breakfast is also fine

A nice location for a hotel in theory. However, the long drive up and down the mountain makes this hotel a place where you'd only ever spend one night at one time. That being said, there is nothing inherently wrong with the hotel or the service.
The restaurants and amenities are average to almost decent, depending on your expectations.
A lovely place to take in the sunset over Al Ain and the desert but that's pretty much what it has to offer. For everything else, you'll be better off staying somewhere else in Al Ain.
Well we've visited for an week end the experience was awesome in the month of Feb 2018 the climate was fantastically sweet and cold the only thing we've got disappointed about the temperature control pool was working to its point, the water was freezing cold and still manage to swim for few minutes or so and left. Above all the ambiance, breakfast, and many activities to choose from were great. Planning to visit again sooner.
Fantastic service, polite people, and fair prices. Beautiful nature makes you feel alive, and hotel recreational facility utilises all your energy.
Enchanted sunset is a memorable moment, capture all you can. Love it.
Very good place, heated pools, good buffet dinner, mini golf, badminton, kids play. Note that KIDS WATER SLIDE is not temp controlled. IMPORTANT: anything extra you order will involve huge taxes. Offer prices are not inclusive of taxes. I loved this place with family.
Huge.. Well maintained.. Lovely hotel atop the Jebel Hafeet mountain.. Lovely huge pool.. Great restaurants.. Not too forget the brilliant views
We had a nice time here. The view across the city is breath taking, and a sunset night cap at Al Khayma the restaurant is a must. The staff are very kind and they brought our drinks to our room as baby was crying at the restaurant. That was a nice touch together with the treats they brought to our room on a complimentary basis. I only gave 3 stars as there were a few little things - we booked into a non smoking wing that was family friendly but our neighbors kept smoking so we couldn't enjoy the view from the balcony. We did phone the reception to sort it out but the hotels inability to control and sort this out is a big factor when there are so many families and baby's in this 'family friendly hotel.
Gorgeous views. Good food and atmosphere. Will definitely go back. Hotel is a bit dated but still nice
Lovely hotel situated on Jebel Hafeet Mountain. Got amazing outdoor space and activities with views to die for. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Few things need updating though.
Pros:
* The lobby has an incredibly green look.
* The atrium takes your breath away when you see it for the first time.
* The service was exceptionally quick.
* The pool are is a LOT of fun with their slides and well designed and cordoned pool area. Life guards were vigilant and active throughout.
* Balconies with most rooms.
Cons:
* Rooms are on the smaller side but lively with acceptably bright colours.
* No supply shops for groceries or conveniences there is a cafeteria/restaurant on top of Jebel Hafeet though.
Would surely visit again with the kids!
It is not wow at all the swimming pool is very cold the heater of it not working probably. no varieties in the food .at night no to much activity only shisha it is enough day use not more than this there is slides but only one you can use from 3 when u ask for something even small it will come after one hour even small thing the restaurant is not totally clean.they can allow for people to go swimming pool by their clothes not by swimming clothes the pool is very clean and big but actually i will not come again
Very friendly and welcoming staff
Beautiful weather, minimum 6 degrees difference between sea levels and this hotel so you can enjoy your stay even in summer season.
Room was big and very clean.
Swimming pool is really nice especially when you combine it with the bar.
Breakfast can be better.
In case you want to book in this hotel try to get all inclusive deal where you will have breakfast, dinner and unlimited drinks for very good price.
Over all it was very good experience and I will come back for sure.
Went to Al Khayma Cafe for dinner and drinks. Amazing view and a very friendly staff. Perfect for a chilled out evening with family and friends.
Excellent Hotel.
+ Smiling Staffs, Very decent rooms, good facilities such as minin golf, squash, Large pool, Nice views.
Its a value for money hotel.
Had lunch and a drink here recently during a drive to the top of the mountain. It is little dated deco style hotel. Staff was pleasant and polite. Food was just average usual hotel offer. Good option for a stop if you are up here as you can enjoy mountain views from various terraces. You can also leave the car in the parking and continue a walk to the top of the mountain for panoramic views. There is not much to do here, so would probably stay for maximum one night.
The atmosphere and ambience of the place will appeal to nature lovers and people who wants privacy.
Being on top of a mountain, it provides an airy ambience that can rejuvenate otherwise busy people during weekends.
The only point of improvement are rooms are I need of an upgrade, especially the furnishings.
I stayed at the Grand Mercure for a weekend trip. While it has some wonderful recreational facilities, the rooms themselves could be improved.
All rooms on the bottom floors are shabby, dusty, and have maintenance issues. My room had a toilet that couldn't flush. The hotel staff had to send an engineer to fix it, only to have it break again in the middle of the night. A nasty situation to be in.
The rooms on the upper floors are renovated and better kept. If you're unlucky and are thrown into a room on one of the bottom floors, that could ruin your stay.
