The food is really good, the location is perfect and the food is also not too expensive. Altough, the staff is not friendly at all. They didn't even ask how the food tasted and they also didn't look very happy. Everything is fine but the staff needs some education on how to behave properly.

What made this special is that the owner walked around to check all was ok. The food was pretty good, but nothing outstanding. The location was a bit strange, but they have made the most of it. The gelato selection was outstanding. The mosque next door brought a special atmosphere!

One of the best Italian restaurant in Dubai.
You find fresh homemade pasta, excellent Australian beef, pizza and focaccia made as in Italy and the last but not the least the best ice cream in town.

We visited the restaurant encouraged by the good reviews and it definitely worth. Good variety of Italian food on the menu. Price are in the mid range while the quality is at the top so very good value for money. It's petty they don't serve alcohol. We will sure be back!

Terrible food. Old bread. Very over priced for the service and portions. Waiters are hard to understand because of the heavy accent and are rude. I was very disappointed.

Pizza is made in a traditional Italian thin crust style - very tasty. Pumpkin Ravioli (fresh made pasta) was very tasty. The home made ice cream (made by Massimo himself) is truly delightful.
The view is superb, the service very efficient, the owner greets customers himself

Massimo's is as the name suggests, an Italian eatery, and Italian indeed except for the staff which are otherwise very accommodating. This locale is at the Marina walk level downstairs from Park Island Bonair tower, difficult to see from the street. Enter from the restaurants ramp on the right side (facing) of the beautiful mosque next door. The restaurant has a very high high ceiling, making its A/C bill exorbitant. The glass façade faces the Marina with its breathtaking shimmering towers at night. However no people-watching, maybe boat-watching !!!
A guest and I ordered artichoke pizza and fetuccini alfredo pasta. The pasta came in a huge plate making one feels it's small-portioned, but not. It was delicious and filling. I asked the waiter to make my pizza thicker in the middle, thinner at the crust than what has been customary in this area (the thin middle becomes soggy and not amenable to hand-eat the slice, which is how I eat and enjoy my pizza !!). And voila !! mine came maybe better than what I told him. We asked for Parmiggiana and the waiter brought us a full glass container of it, enough for both the pasta and pizza. Were we full and happy with all? You bet. What an experience.response / report this review -

At first abit upset they didnt serve alcohol, but the meal definitely made up for it! Small dishes, but filling, perfect meal for families or romantic nights out. Fully enjoyed every moment. The marina view, was purely magical, and the waitors very kind and lovely, never given out 5 stars before. Would highly recommend!!

The food is very bad and very expensive and the size of the dishes is very small ,We are surprised by the size and the bad taste for the price which cost us too and we will not repeat the visit again , also gave this restaurant one star because sea view and nice staff only

One of the better and genuine Italian restaurants in dubai. Value for money. The price is right and quality of food is very good. Home made ice cream is also available.
