It's the beginning of new thought for future generations, the electronics cars is deburred from its service for 6 months due to construction.

The city has a long way to go but the minimalist details are beautiful if you take time to look at them.
The materials are special, and the different textures stand out against one another.
You may lose your way but you'll always end up at a courtyard with a different feel and view.report this review -

The architecture did had a mishmash sci-fi vibe. Not really a city. Strangely quiet and no info or person for guidance of what to see and do there. The hyped up PRT was not working, security guard told me it's being repaired for the next 2-3 months. Maybe in the future this futuristic eco "city" will be awesome. Looking forward to it.

Masdar is a city carefully planned to be friendly to its inhabitants, with zero carbon emissions and also to have temperatures significantly less than the surrounding area which is very hot all year round. There are innovative methods of building construction, transportation and air cooling._

When we visited Masdar, it was Ramadan so it was quiet, a bit like a ghost town and not to mention hot. It was a good place though, free parking, free access to the place and all. It shows good architecture and new technology, the electric car feels like I was in the future. Overall, I think the place is underrated, I guess it's because of the location. It is such an interesting place but it would help if they hold events here to attract visitors. I would definitely come back here with y friends.

Masdar City is a sustainable and beautiful architecture City. It is designed to be very friendly to pedestrians and cyclists and due to Masdar's unique construction, temperature in Masdar City is significantly lower then in rest of Abu Dhabi.
At the moment core of Masdar City is Masdar Institute which is the best Institute in region. It has collaboration with MIT so it accepts only the best students from all around the world. Every student can apply through their website just search on google Masdar Institute.
Beside Masdar Institute there is also worth mentioning the headquarters of the International Renewable Energy Agency (commonly known as IRENA) and headquarters for Siemens, these two buildings has been built in Masdar City along with others. In addition there is a lot of companies inside Masdar City such as restaurants, banks, mobile operators, etc.
