It was a turning point In my life when I joined The university of Manchester, I learned a lot and I’m still learning from this place not knowledge only but different and valuable competencies.
I selected UoM for my MBA mainly based on it’s ranking and the triple accreditations. But studying the MBA at UoM is life long journey not just another qualification or MBA. Studied at few centers around world from elite level of academics with depth knowledge, practical business learning and application. Studying and working with Outstanding cohort representing whole world was a unique opportunity and learning experience. Phenomenal support from the team at Middle East Center and the team at Manchester were made studies much easy. After the MBA, networking with Alumni, supporting the student community, working with the University for the community and the continues learning programs & events are much more than the MBA and are invaluable.
In 2014, I looked extensively for a prestigious university to pursue my MBA. The market in the middle east was drastically shifting, and I needed to find a University that depicts an innovative transformational approach to its taught modules.
I took the decisive step and joined UOM as an MBA postgraduate. My life has changed since then!
I had heard about the Manchester-Way in teaching, and it was not till I became part of that “family” that I utterly understood the importance of “the learning by doing” concept.
The impact of the experience I had at the university was immeasurable in my personal and professional life alike.
I owe a big part of the success I am flourishing now to how the university has approached its taught curriculum and most importantly, to the cores and values it has successfully planted in each one’s personality. A University that has the students in mind; focusing on how to mine for their strengths and taking the necessary measures to reinforce them. A University that believes in enhancing the bond between its professors and students while creating a lifelong relationship among its student. A University that believes in the importance of creating a "family" of alumni who are always there for each other. A University that believes in the importance of giving back to the community.
It has been five years since I finished my MBA, and I am still part of an ever-growing family of alumni and students.
An unwritten code governs that relationship, highlighting how we are always “ one entity ”; Staff, Students and Alumni.
A place of knowledge, connection and contemplation. People there are family, just passing by this place makes your mind want to grow. Thank you for everything.
The Global MBA program of Manchester Business School is a great asset to both personal and professional development. It’s a great pleasure being part of the alumni network since 2011 and attending all the events organized by the University of Manchester Middle East Center.
