Old, stinks of cigarette smoke, dark dingy bar with no atmosphere and always seems dirty.

I had to be in Longs, to taste the best Lamb Shank I ever had. Absolutely fantastic. Worth every penny.

Spent 5 days in Dubai on vacation, so visited this bar on 2 occasions for drinks only. One nigh had a happy hour so made the nigh cheap. The second night must have been lady's night as she got X3 free drinks tokens, Bar staff were friendly and a great choice of drinks. Both nights there was two girls singing and pretty ok as singing songs well know to the IRE/UK charts.

Nice relaxed bar but showing it’s age and can’t manage to attract decent crowds anymore.
The beer selection is vast the shelled nuts are a nice touch and there food is really good though, Just needs the right marketing.response / report this review -

It's a Friday and obviously not a busy day but waiters and supervisor is just talking around they don't even realized that my drinks is finished for almost 1 hour . They are just passing and passing infront of me. I'm so disappointed!!!!!!! So I decided to leave the place and never come back. Precisely I will not recommend to anyone.

As bar's go this is quite a good bar and the staff are friendly enough and thats as good as it gets. They do live up to their name - Longs Bar - because they take a Long time with the orders. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and its perhaps not the best venue for such events because they didn't make any effort.
I had the fish & chips mostly because the menu clearly stated that it came with "hand-cut" chips and to be sure I double-checked before placing the order and I was lied to because what I got was not hand-cut! See the photo! I don't think they know what hand-cut chips look like. The fish was more batter than fish. The meal is as unappetising and disappointing as it looks.
No one in the group had anything good to say about their meals and the tastiest thing on the table was the birthday cake which fortunately was from the french bakery!!
It's easily accessible by metro and is an OK place to go for a drink or two, if you don't mind waiting a while and don't plan to dine there.response / report this review -

We went for friday brunch here its good food but i did not enjoy much they had a lot of options for beef and pork but not much for chicken or veg
Place is good but food was average i wont visit again for food

There's always a seat at Longs Bar. Great place to unwind and spend the afternoon or have Friday brunch. You can't go wrong for a casual meal or drink in Dubai.

Located in Rotana Hotel, it can be easily found even if you are a tourist. Prices are reasonable and the bartenders are very nice and helpful, but they tend to be a lil busy sometimes. Would be better if they consider adding less ice cubes maybe? Also, maybe they should focus more on bar cleaning because it was kinda sticky!

We had a traditional Friday brunch here and felt it was good value. There was a good selection of food from around the world, the wine flowed freely and the surroundings were friendly and convivial. It's also a popular spot for a beer in the evening, there's plenty of choice and it has a better than average extraction system so it is not as smoky inside as some of the other bars on Sheik Zayed Road,
