Simple machines are part of our lives. Grade 3 students in Emirates Intl School learnt about how to use them to make jobs easier, investigated the power of magnets and even made their simple Rube Goldberg machine. We had a great time. Keep up the great work!

This week we’ve been learning about light with KG2 students in GEMS World Academy. We’ve been inquiring about sources of light, the different colors hidden in the light and we found out that we can use the energy from the sun and transform it in electricity. Well done to all the these new generation of scientists!

We have been inquiring about genetics and DNA with students in Grade 5 at GEMS World Academy. We had learn about how genes and traits are inherited, we had practiced to read a DNA sequence and create our own cute little bug. We concluded our workshop as part of a forensic team with an exciting blood typing activity. So much fun! Well done to everyone!

Learning about solar system and space is always fascinating. This week we visited Raffles World Academy where grade 3 students inquired about seasons, moon phases, touched real meteorites and concluded the workshop by building their own map of the solar system. What an amazing topic! Well done, kids! Don’t stop asking yourselves questions!

We had learned so many new things about electricity this week with Grade 2 in Gems World Academy. We had built simple circuits and even used solar energy with our solar panels. Now we know that signs and symbols can help us draw a circuit diagram

What can I say! A brilliant experience for our K1 children at Uptown School.

Novella and her team coordinated with us in advance so we could tailor the workshop to the key skills we were focusing on in school.

They were very well prepared and early years friendly so that the children had hands on experiences and were actively involved.

    Memories were made.

    Skills were practised.

The children and staff alike love the experience.

Thank you so much. Already booked for next year :)

Amazingly well-organised with so many different activities for the students to do. They were hands-on and engaging, with lots of student-directed questions to prompt their curiosity and inquiry. Thank you so much for bringing such a wonderful learning experience to our school! It was brilliant value for money, and the gift they all left with prompted some wonderful home-learning opportunities that the students could share with their family too.
