Mildly dirty I did not try the food but the juice tasted like the fruits were not fresh. Do not recommend if u can avoid it.

The chicken tastes good, clean and well grilled. the Mayo garlic they serve with the chicken is amazing. their flagship dish is the grilled chicken breast, taste good and not dry, and it is served with green salad.
Value for money at JJ chicken is ok, the average spend per person is around AED 35-40.response / report this review -

The place was unfortunately closed on a Friday which is not the case last summer. We used to get ice cream from them after the beach.

This joint should tick all the boxes and be an absolute hit as it's got everything going for it. Sadly it's let down by the one thing that should be it's stand out feature - the chicken. Read on to find out why
The good: great location on the beach front and set away from rabble of other joints. Ample comfortable seating and reasonably efficient staff as food was prepared quick.
The bad: the chicken whilst cooked properly was teetering on being bland and tasteless, as if no marination or seasoning exists. Unfortunately once you've tasted the king of grilled chicken (nandos) you really have to up your game and at least offer some different flavoured options.
The ugly: as i finished my meal a staff member ask me twice to place my trash in the provided bin. I would have done this anyway and don't have a problem doing it but the manner in which it was done was distasteful. And then to top it all off as i head to the bin another staff comes and takes my tray and cleans up. Poor staff attitude isn't gonna do this joint any favours.

Awesome chicken, healthy food on the beach. I didn't want a greasy burger or fried food, their chicken is charcoal grilled and you can really taste it. The garlic dip is phenomenal.
