Cool place. Loved the terrace, you won’t see the view unless you’re sitting next to it. Cocktails menu needs to be eye friendly.
Hostesses at the door were a bit grumpy, don’t know why. But overall I recommend it

Pretty cool bar. Remember that if you flew Emirates, they'll give you some sort of a discount if you show your boarding pass. Check to confirm that's still the case.

Iris is an upscale outdoor lounge located on the roof of The Oberoi in business bay.

For an outdoor venue, they are packed year round, which is largely due to their fantastic ambience, vibe, and delicious food. Whether you are here for a business meeting or casual get together. Iris has a table with your name on it.

The music can be loud and it is not easy to find an area where the spot is not blasting in your ear, but the food will make up for it.

I enjoyed the shrimp tempura sushi. It had a sweet flavour on the outside, which was a nice change compared to the rest of the shrimp tempura sushi that I have had in Dubai. The truffled beef sliders were also nice. The truffle sauce was rich in flavour and you could taste it with every bite. Also tried the angus steak which had nice flavour but the temperature was off. Not a big deal, easy fix. The tiger prawn with thai noodles was nice. I thought the shrimps were nicely cooked and marinated but the noodles I didn’t consider to be thai. It was the wrong type of the noodles and the flavours definitely tasted nothing like Thai.

The price vs quality I thought were a bit high. Given the location of Iris, this is understandable but if it was a standalone restaurant elsewhere at a non-premium location, the prices needs to be 20-30% less for the quality that is served for both drinks and food.

Nice decor, uncomfortable high chairs, we had the two kinds of beef sliders they have, although the bread was stale, the taste was good, the Spanish calamary was excellent and not greasy at all, they have excellent cocktails and nice nice views.

Lively lounge on a higher floor with outdoor as well as indoor seating. Excellent food options. Try the crab and avocado salad. Park in the basement for hassle-free entry.

One of the best outdoor lounges/pubs in Dubai (it also have an indoor area during summer). Music is usually nice and entertaining. Food is actually tasty and same goes for the drinks. One of the best place to spend the night if you're not looking for a hardcore party or an after work outing!
