If you want to look back a history of Dubai there is one respectable place to see it in photos - Shaikh Saeed Al-Maktoum family. There are ancient photos of al-Maktoum family, Dubai and art, music, and literature. Some of the antique photos has been used in adornment of Dubai This is the place to be if you want to gain an detailed insight into the antiquity of Dubai as you explore the habitation of a former ruler of Dubai (the grandfather of the present ruler). While remembering the old charm of a home, the house has also been transformed into a museum with an striking collection of exhibits.

One of the most attractive place to be visited and enjoy seeing how it was the living conditions of the old Dubai and showing how it is the relationship between the ruler and the citizen. Amazing things to discover.

A historical place the house of the Former ruler of Dubai

Its a historical building which has been renovated to its glory. The building is huge and only a part of it is open for our viewing. The galleries are good but could have been done better.

The specialty of this place is in the wind towers which have been restored and do check that out.

The view from the first floor is great and do not miss that.

Quite a nice place to spend about one hour plus. Some of the exhibits are yet to open. All of the rooms are air conditioned with plenty of benches around the area to sit down and rest.

Should put in more information to compliment the pictures showcased here.
