It's hard to put into words just how bad this bar has become. So let me do it with numbers instead.
8 members of staff "working".
40 customers (manager's own estimate, personally I'd put it at closer to 50, but that's just splitting hairs).
Just to put that into some perspective. That means if each customer orders one drink every 30 minutes, on average each member of staff has 6 minutes to take the order, get the drink, take the money, and bring the change. Sounds reasonable, no?
So let's examine what actually happened.
5 minutes from sitting down to being served.
12 minutes from ordering drink to receiving it.
10 minutes after finishing drink waiting to pay for it before member of staff approaches.
5 more minutes waiting in vain for the check.
3 minutes to track down manager.
5 minutes explaining to manager that no, I didn't want to sit down and have a drink on the house. I just want to settle my bill.
8 minutes waiting for manager to bring check.
3 minutes waiting for manager to bring change.
2 minutes explaining to F&B Manager who turned up that he really, really, needs to take a long hard look at how he is running his bar.response / report this review -

Formerly the home of MUSC UAE which has now moved to The Red Lion in the Metropolitan. Some amazing memories here. Good food, service and when it was game time, there was no place better to be. Good times!

I'd call this place the '' Official Unofficial '' Manchester United Supporters Club in Dubai.
What an ambience during games!
I came here in the 24th of May 2017 to watch the Match between Manchester United and Ajax. The UEFA Europa League Final. Electric ambience with the crowd chanting songs.
Would love to come back for other matches as well.

Manchester United pub! Fantastic service always, great selection of pub fare and drinks- I love the ceasar salad and short ribs w chips. Can't go wrong here, and the location is super close to the metro!

nice British pub with good foods and beverages. you may try their famous fish and chips. yes it's a little smoky because it's allowed to smoke. nice place to watch football match too.

Full of smoke with no ventilation whatsoever. Staff are overworked and struggle to cope with orders. Food is above average but takes a while to be served. No live band and overall just a boring environment.
