The security on this place sucks, they keep on threatening people of fines fines and fines, this is not a camping friendly area, we were forced to close and fold our tents at 2AM without consideration, these is during the national holiday we are expats in the country and your guest but the authorities in these area were so hell bent on just their rules and no CONSIDERATION or any decency we were forced to sit out in the open in the COLD of 2am in the morning totally heartless rules. And barbeque area they call it, but there are only 4 area where you could barbeque and there are almost 20-30 families in this area how do you cook? and we barbequed in the ground and yet they keep on threatening you with fines fines again and again this place is so GOOD but the people RUNNING IT needs a lot changing to do so RUDE and NO CONSIDERATION for people travelling to this place.

A beautiful and well developed park in the mountains at the outskirts of Al Ain. Good place for a relaxed walk, picnic or eating at one of the cafes there. If you want to explore more, visit an old Mubazzarah Dam which is just 5 min drive on the other side of the mountain (marked well on Google maps) and allows for a look - and little trekking if you wish - at a more rough side of the mountain.

You got a huge family? You love barbecue in the weekends? This is it! Arrive early on weekends to get the best spot! Gets insanely crowded in the weekends and holidays!

One of the biggest parks in the city. Busy at the weekend yet, it a family friendly. Safe(the police is always there) with lots of facilities for children. Cooking arrangements are available and there are watery streams that you can dip yor legges in. Separated fully covered swimming areas for women and men for 5 AEd per person.

Beautiful place to relax with family for a BBQ. natural greens at the foot of Jabal Hafeet. Can get crowded on weekends with limited BBQ areas.

Excellent place to walk around if you like birds. The streams and greenery are a magnet for many species. From the others there, obviously there are attractions for the kids and youngsters too. Beautiful backdrop in the Jebel Hafeet mountains.
One semi-official chastised me for using my camera with a large zoom lens even though I was only taking pictures of birds. Said there were large fines in spite of no signs indicating this. The owner of the cafe with the park later told me it was no problem taking photos! Loses a star for employing some official idiot who threatens people with large camera lenses!response / report this review -

Beautiful place, lots of activities for kids such as swings, slides and horse riding. Adults can enjoy doing barbecue or swimming in the pool that is constantly filled with hot underground water.
