As my first visit to the gym the stuff weren’t polite. The guys in front desk I believe he is from India were not polite to me. I was going to get membership but for their behavior I decided to look for another gym that is polite to their customers. Also, I asked for complaint form to write this satiation, they don’t have complaint form how come big gym like gold gym doesn’t have complaint form. That’s weird. Any way very bad gym. I don’t advice anyone who care about his or her respect to get membership. Thanks

    UPDATE: March 2, 2019.
There is now Hot water in the shower!!! Thank you so much. ai braced myself to be hit with blistering cold blast, but instead was pleasantly surprised by hot showers.
Thank you for fixing this problem.
The Al Ain facility is mediocre and the staff attitude is horrible and very unfriendly.
I've visited from Abu Dhabi, previously a Golds member in USA for many years and was very disappointed.
    *UPDATE* Feb.15, 2019
Now 3 months with COLD showersnot even warm. After countless complaints from multiple members, we are still without hot water in the shower (keep in mind it's WINTER!!!)
I can't believe the Golds Gym brand is associated with such low quality standards. Do better, Al Ain. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Poor management, very poor design that is wasting a lot of space and cheap machines.

Impolite trainers/ staff lacking communication skills , they only want to sell either membership or personal training sessions.

The place is dirty and not maintained at all, there is a broken glass wall that has been broken over 8 months now (still going) and all they did, was to just tape it together.

Temperature is not properly set for a workout environment.

Swimming pool is not well maintained and water is always too cold.

    Floor is awfully dirty!!

The membership prices are different each day (quote from sales)

Whole experience is just a waste of time.

I’ve only seen the women’s section of the gym, and to be honest I expected it to be way bigger.
The gym is okay, the only reason I go is for my trainer Olha, but other than that I wouldn’t join the gym.

When I went to join the sales woman was talking like I won the jackpot, “this is your lucky day” “this offer is only for today” “if you came another day we won’t be able to give this discount”. At the beginning she gave me a crazy laughable price, but then she said after the discount it’s 3599 dhs, which isn’t cheap.

The fees are considered expensive for a gym that has a treadmill “under-service” for more than a week now. Most of the lockers doesn’t work since I joined which is exactly a month ago. The toilets and bathrooms have this unpleasant smell and there is water everywhere, it’s not exactly clean.

The three stars is for my trainer.

This depends largely on what you mean by "characters."

A file with 200 ASCII characters, encoded with Latin-1 or a similar one-byte character encoding scheme will be¹ 200 bytes in size.

A file with 200 Unicode characters, encoded with UCS-4 will be at least¹ 804 bytes² in size.

A file with 200 Unicode characters, encoded with UTF-8 will be at least¹ 200 bytes, but may be as much as 800 bytes or more, depending on the language and what other specific characters are being used.

On Windows, under default conditions, a file created in Notepad will be at least¹ either³ 200 or 402 bytes in size.

    Why so much variability?

The short of it is that in ASCII and similar one-byte character encodings, a character is exactly 8 bits. One byte. No more, no less.

In multi-byte encodings, however, especially ones that use surrogate pairs (like UTF-16) or variable-length characters (like UTF-8 and UTF-7), the number of bytes for a single character is more than one byte.

UCS-4 is probably the easiest to understand. Unicode has a specification that brings together every written language into a single, unified character set. This means, of course, that you can write Japanese, Urdu, Afrikaans, Russian, English, and Linear A Script all together in a single document. But it also means that the 256 values of an 8-bit byte is nowhere near enough for more than about one, maybe two, languages. It's certainly not enough for Japanese (over 4,000 characters) or Chinese (over 100,000 known characters). So, UCS-4 uses 4 bytes to index all of Unicode. That has enough room for over 4 billion characters

I have been a member for five months now. The gym is big and spacious. But after six usually it's a rush. The equipmemt is second grade when you compare it to "hammer strength," . The coffee machine works one days and takes three days off. And today a new feature after eight thirty pm the water was cut. So no drinking water ,shower water or bathroom flush.

To the management of this establishment I think you have enough members, and have enough profit to have a standby water pump for emergency situations. No one once to leave the gym with sweaty clothes .

I think alot is to be done to improve your facility. Your leg press machine has a plastic cover which is cracked from the top. Fix it .
Hope it reaches and things change
    Thanks

Probably the best gym facility in the region it has a great range of fitness equipment from cycling machines, thread mills, MMA cage, Running track, Swimming pool, Sauna and more. It offers the best value for money. I would spend a lot of my time in this club!

Great gym. Largest gold gym in the UAE.
Has almost every machine, a running track, a cardio corner and even a UFC octagon cage.
Facilities also include 2 swimming pools, one for men and the other for women. Separate workout areas for both too.
It may be a bit pricey though, but definitely the best gym in Al Ain.
