I highly recommend this veterinary clinic as all of the staffs are treating their patients in an excellent way. I've been to other vet clinics and this place was just by far amazing. Just simply looking at your pet treated like humans is beyond my expectations. From the receptionist to the doctors, they were all very helpful and kind. Most specially to Dr. Laura and Dr. Dana for taking good care of my cat Lucy.
    Keep up the good work.

I took my 8 years old pug for a check up. The whole experience from booking to the visit was nice and very professional.
It’s a “fear free” clinic, so even the consultation room was cozy and my dog didn’t feel anxious at all.
I am only giving 4* because it is overpriced.

The German vet clinic is a highly competent, professional and friendly establishment to take your beloved pets to. We recently had a medical emergency with Chloe, our 8-month-old tiny teacup Pomeranian. She was diagnosed and treatment started within hours of her arrival. She stayed in the hospital for four days and has made a remarkable recovery. She underwent some procedures which required sedation and all went well as planned, thanks to the passionate and experienced medical team based there. It was a significant relief for Chloe to come home and she continues to do exceptionally well. Thank you once again to the team at GVC from the kind admin staff to the expert medical team. I highly recommend this establishment that will give you a piece of mind that your beloved pet is in safe hands. Keep up the excellent work.

I used GVC to relocate my dog to the UK this summer. They took all the stress associated with such a task away. A professional set up, that gives you a reassuring feeling that your
pet will be well looked after.
    Worth every penny spent,
    Thank you

Have lived all over the world and this vet clinic is the most professional I've ever used. Having dealt with many vets in my home country Australia this clinic surpasses them all. I've dealt with all of their Drs since 2016, and they are kind, caring, they listen to you. update you regularly, very gentle with your pets (no scruff, separate dogs/cats properly, I've learnt so much on how to calm my cats from them). They are up to date with the latest veterinary practices. Their reception staff are wonderful, and their nursing staff have nursed my sick kittens and cats all through the night. Even down to their nursing staff - they've employed top people and they are absolutely meticulous. I've used Dr Katrin and her wonderful behavioural therapy. They've kept my sick cat overnight when my husband was in hospital and I was working in another country and we had no one to help us. They answer their phones and get back to you when they say they will. Absolutely fabulous. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other vets I've used in Abu Dhabi, and given the service you get, it's beyond worthwhile. You don't want to go cheap on your pet's life. I don't know what I'd do without them in Abu Dhabi.

I have been to several vets in the UAE over my 7 years here and GVC is head and shoulders above all the rest. Both my cats were ill in December and I was not happy with the care they received at my previous vets so I googled "best vet clinic in Abu Dhabi" and the German Vet came up. They are a Gold Standard cat friendly clinic but my dog is given the same gold standard when she visits. One of the things I love the most is that it is a clean, quiet, stress free environment for the animals. My animals and I feel this from the moment we walk in-always greeted by friendly and helpful receptionists. One of my cats was diagnosed with a severe genetic kidney disease so from December until last week she and I made weekly visits. We saw a number of different doctors and nurses over this time, all of them very kind and very caring, always helpful and very patient with me with all my questions and when teaching me how to give fluids. She had a couple of stays at the cat hospital where I was allowed to visit her and was totally put at ease by the hospital environment and the care she was given by head nurse, Noora and her staff.
Unfortunately Jebel was very sick and has gone to kitty heaven but I do believe she was given the best possible treatments and care. Dr. Sarah was amazing with Jebel every step of the way. She is knowledgeable, professional, kind, caring and communicates easily and effectively but most of all, she gave Jebel love and gave me the support I needed during a very difficult time. I can not say enough about Dr. Sarah and the whole GVC staff. I am so grateful for all they did for Jebel. I tell everyone I know to change vets and come to the GVC, they 100% are THE BEST in Abu Dhabi.

As per other reviews, Business Manager Mike kitchen blames customers for his staff’s short comings. Put your hands up and take responsibility when you drop the ball and make an error !

German vet never used to be, however now is extremely unreliable and I have completely lost confidence on what the Doctors advice and recommend.

I tried to discreetly pass my feedback onto Dr Katrin Jahn to no avail, was then met by an extremely abrupt email from Mike Kitchen.

Save yourself the time and hassle and use ANY other veterinary clinic.

I had a minor emergency and they took me right away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can see they truly care for animals just by how they treat your pet.

Great clinic with very friendly and kind staff. They actually care about your pet, they welcome you with a smile and they are nice people. The clinic is very clean and a friendly environment for pets. Dr. Vito is very genuine and always very nice to my cat. He and the nurses are very careful and know how to kindly treat your pet.

The German Vet Clinic prides itself in being a "cat friendly" clinic. Here you will find a number of high perches to rest your cat in its carry cage. This apparently greatly eases your cat's stress levels.
All other domestic animals and pets are also catered for professionally by the well qualified Veterinarians and nurses.
The practice is always spotless and staff very welcoming. Situated in Khalifa City A, the GVC is handily placed for most of the expanding Abu Dhabi metropolis.

My daughter took our pet dog to the German Vet today for an emergency problem with his eye, because our regular vet was in surgery. While the facility is great and the staff are professional, I was very disappointed to find on my invoice 120 dirhams "consultation walkin/no appt surcharge" in addition to the regular consultation fee.
As someone who runs a clinic myself, I find the idea extremely objectionable. I would either accept a patient on regular charges if I have the time, or not accept. Ofcourse it's your business to run as you please, but it is a principle that is unacceptable to me. Hence I shall not be returning.
    All the best.

Great Vet. Organised my move from Abu Dhabi to Melbourne Australia. The proper questions and research done. The German Vet turned out to be better than the Quarantine in Spotswood, Victoria. Thank you for the help.

Absolutely amazing, I couldn't have chosen a better vet. They are very friendly and caring and take the time to speak to you and explain everything that you need to know. You really feel like your pet is being looked after. if your pet is staying over night for a procedure, they will call you immediately to let you know how it went and reassure you. I am very satisfied.
