The facilities and the teachers will amaze you at first, but you'll quickly become disillusioned once your first term here starts. The best facilities are only used for show, for when the KHDA comes around and the school begins vying for a good review. Dubai is known for raising expat brats (snobby pampered kids with maids and attitude problems). But this school is completely filled with these kids. I'm pretty sure the term was invented here. This place is a disgrace. If you love your kids, don't send them to this school.

Keep your children away from this hellhole. Bullying is out of control. Had to withdraw my children after they would come home crying everyday. Teachers are so incompetent, and higher level staff are not receptive to complaints (and many MANY parents have tried to do something to improve the situation, but to no avail).

GEMS Wellington International School (GWIS) is the only Foundation stage 1 to year 13 International School to receive an 'Outstanding' rating by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau.
The school teaches The National Curriculum for England from FS1 through to Year 13, Initially the school will follow the national testing system of England but plans to develop an International Baccalaureate style of education for post 16 aimed at preparing students for tertiary level education. The school places emphasis on a high quality education supported by a variety of extra-curricular activities.
