공항터미널1 안에있는 에미레이트항공 안내데스크에서 티켓 스케줄을 변경하러 갔다.
(마침 일행을 배웅해주면서)
안네데스크에 앉아있는 여직원의 인상
표정은 썩은 사과를 먹은 표정
말투는 귀찮은듯이 훈계하는 말투
이상하게 기분이 더러웠다.
티켓변경 할 일이 생기면
버즈 알 아랍 호텔 근처에 있는 에미레이트항공 사무실에서 처리하기 바람.
여기에 비하면 엄청나게 친절함!
에미레이트항공사는 직원들의 서비스마인드 교육을 안하나 보다.response / report this review -

Having been a resident of Dubai, UAE for almost 17 years, I have never seen a government establishment being run so shabbily as Terminal 1. Right from the moment you enter the airport you start noticing crowds and long queues everywhere. Especially busy sectors like India have check in counters manned by just 1 or 2 very ill-mannered and rude staff who think nothing of speaking harshly to the customers. Have had so many unpleasant experiences at the Air India counters with just 2 staff handling more than 200 people in long winding queues. Even if you show up more than 3 hours ahead of flight time, you are likely to have an average wait time of around 1 hr+ just at the check in counters.
Immigration counters are another story altogether. Crowd control is done via barricades which are 8-10 rows long and no staff to assist even passengers who are old, ill, wheel-chair bound or even families with small children. So no matter how many or how few passengers there may be ahead of you at the immigration counters, you end up walking up and down those rows 8-10 times before you even reach the counters!
We complained to one staff personnel (wearing blue uniforms) who happened to be in the premises about this whole walking exercise since there was no one ahead of us and he bluntly asked us to go speak to his supervisor and that he won't be able to help us! I wonder why they are even there if they can't assist the passengers!
The Smart Gates with Emirates ID is active but not available to children below the age of 18. Cannot understand why the Smart Gate mechanism hasn't been implemented only at this airport terminal while across the city, Sharjah airport has already implemented it, thereby reducing their immigration crowds in half or even lesser.
The washrooms along the way to the concourse train station are so dirty, it would make you wonder if you are still in Dubai or have already flown out to some other place.
DNATA is doing such a nasty job of ruining a major airport terminal which has millions of visitors flying in and out every day. Wish someone would step in and take charge to make sure this Terminal is also updated to the standards Dubai has always strived to maintain.response / report this review -
