We have been here in the Morning Safari tour. And I will definitely advise this experience to all.
Me, my husband and our 2.5 year old daughter were request for the excursion from the Desert Gate, and as a child is really small and the shared tour is not allowed in such case, we were advised to take a private tour, i.e. instead 6 people in a car there were only 3 of us and a driver, who guided us through all the tour.
On the way to the camp we have met the camels, who are just walking around.
The dune bashing was just amazing (and for the child as well). We all enjoyed the crazy ride up&down on dunes. Afterwards we were greeted with the refreshment drinks in the camp and had a small camel ride (~ 5 mins) nearby.
I was also asked for a sand-boarding, and this was the most funny part. For those who think that it is like snow-boarding - Forget about it! ))) It is veeery slow motion from the dune, sometimes with stops. Bit the photos look great ))))
After small rest our guide returned us to the hotel.
    Many-many thanks!

Amazing experience. A must-see if you are visiting Dubai. About 1 hour drive from Dubai, the Desert Gate Camp is a place to unwind.

Camels to ride. But before then, enjoy the thrilling 4X4 Jeep ride through the sand dunes with experienced drivers who know their craft.

Get some adrenaline flowing through your veins with the orchestral Jeep ride.

Then step on the quad bike for another thrilling ride.

After that, dress up like a Sheikh and settle for sumptuous dinner. You are catered for whether you are a vegetarian or a carnivore. Altogether a very nice experience.

And oh, you are better off going there in the evening. It's a friendlier time as the weather is cooler.

An unique experience in the middle of the desert. The food was ok, the performance were great. We had 2 performances, Belly Dance and Jangoora. The crowd was very good and the hospitality great.

In one camp can hold up to 150pax. You can play for henna tattoo, ridding camel or take a pic with falcon bird, buy souvenir writting your name by colourful sand. The dinner buffet local food but taste great. While you are eating the will perform sufi dance and belly dance.

Small camp, clean toilets, phony sand sliding, possibly average food and entertainment in the evening. I went there in morning.

The evening was terrific but our rude and sullen driver really put a dampner on our evening. He played his own music loudly in the vehicle and kept looking at his phone. Other drivers seemed to be getting on so well with their guests, but not ours he thought we were plain white trash unfortunately

Our "Safari with Bari" (honestly our driver Bari was fantastic, answered all our questions and really made the experience that much more special) was all we could have wished for - dunebashing was super fun, we loved seeing the camel farm, watching the sun set over the desert was magical and the desert camp was a great end to a fantastic afternoon - the barbecue was delicious and we enjoyed the activities even if they were a bit on the touristy side.

Highly recommended experience. Great thrill ride in a 4x4 to get here and also opportunity for a brief ride on some camels. Food is great and the entrainment is also well worth it. Excellent value for money for a 1/2 day trip.

It was an awesome trip to the desert side. I enjoyed every moment. If you are in Dubai, you have to go on Safari Trip. We went on the afternoon one and it was beautiful, we saw sunset which is the best view in the Desert.
