  Extremely disappointed to have found one of the few historical site of UAE abandoned and full of garbage, plastic bottles everywhere, not a minimum of maintenance of the monument that, it’s left to the writers willing ..

  This 16th-century mud-brick fort was built in a strategic hilltop position facing the gulf to defend the region from attack by the British. As a defensive military tower, the Dhayah Fort played an important role in the history of Ras Al-Khaimah.
