This school is fine. But I don't like how when there is an event where we can dress normal clothes, we have to pay 10 AED! Not only that, but the dress code is downright stupid. We have to wear the schools jackets and Black shoes! The black shoes are fine but I'm not going to drop 30 Dhs on a jacket that I'm only going to wear in school! And the excuse they give is "It's part of the uniform" I am not a fan of the dress code. BUT WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU REMOVE ICING FROM THE CARROT CAKE!!1!!!!!!

the school is trash now. When i first came to cas i loved it i had amazing teachers but now the school sucks. First of all the students are drunk, one of the students drank vodka and some of the teachers are weird, every school in dubai gets vacations but we never which sucks, they want our money so they beg us to spend 10 dirhams to wear something sometimes in morning announcements and most importantly THEY REMOVED THE WHIPCREAM ON THE CARROT CAKE. WHY CARROT CAKE IS GREAT AND SO IS WHIP CREAM. the only good teacher is mr johnson

I have been going to this school since it opened and it is a really good school to study at. I have learned so much in all of my classes. If your not in this school, then your missing out on a lot of things.

Collegiate American School has been like a "home away from home" to us. The support system, the friendly environment and the teachers quality has been next to none. Take as example, Mr. Maris Joniec, one of the grade 4 teachers. He has been one of the best we have seen in Dubai in the last 5 years. He comes from the US educational hub of Boston and he is truly committed to his kids well being and education. He tailors for each one needs and goes out of his way to ensure the kids are happy, learning and socializing with their peers. His style make kids give their best and perform the most they could while being happy. As an example, our older son achieved the highest scores in the US MAP test this year. Compare this to previous year where he was in the GEMS system. Not only did our son did not perform as well at GEMS, but he was quite unhappy in school. In summary, if you want your kids to learn, outperform while being happy and be in a family like environment, you should definitely consider CAS as you educational partner.
