Coming from Texas, it’s hard to find a place in the UAE that serves what they think is “authentic” Mexican food. Cantina Laredo hits the mark pretty well. Good food presentation and plenty of brewed tea. FRESH ripe avocado for their table-side guacamole. The restaurant needs more than one waiter/waitress to cover the floor, regardless of how many people actually come to eat. The one waitress we had ran around so much to cover everybody. 😕 She could use the help. Other than that, great food and atmosphere. Big portions. Worth the drive from Dubai

Food was ok, lots of choice. The enchiladas platter I had was ok but nothing special as were the kids taco meals. My wife had a vegetarian choice that we not very good. All in all ok if you go for the classic choices and are around but definitely not worth a d-tour.

Closest thing to Mexican food I found in Abu Dhabi. None of the bootlegged Mexican nonsense other restaurants pitch at you. I love the burritos here

Lovely staff and music. Food is well prepared and I love their cream chipotle sauce! Seating is getting a bit tired with rips in the cushions. Great guacamole and good value.

The food was good enough, it was a noisy experience because the kids on the next table kept screaming continuously! But the restaurant was ok in general. To be honest, El Chico restaurant is better in my opinion.

I think the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. I'd give it 5 stars, but the guy gave me the more expensive water when I asked for a small water. This common trickery in the UAE pisses me off.

Staff is friendly, food quality is Ok however the prices are comparatively too high.
17AED for a soft drink and 10 AED for a small bottle of water is too much.

Very nice restaurant. The meals are generally filling and large enough. The waiters spread big sheets of blank paper and give kids crayons to draw. Overall a good dining experience for both young and old.
