It was a bit hectic during the times of the pandemic. My test dates had to be repeatedly changed as per UAE government's decision. I had to select venue at Dubai to take the test. However, even working limited hours and from home, British council constantly stayed in touch with me to help me take my test. Ms.Amisha, a representative at BC, was particularly very helpful in the process. Couldn't thank her enough. Thank you so much British council for letting me take my test in Dubai and change from paper based to computer base with just AED 140 additional for the change. No other charges and no other trouble. Hope my journey from Abu Dhabi to Dubai be without any troubles. God bless. Stay safe.

I had a bad experience with the examiners in the Gulf news office in Dubai. Due to amendments in the regulations by UAE authorities that the examiners weren’t flexible to deal with.
Post a number of calls to customer service, I have been advised to their virtual customer service where I was handled professionally by a lady called Amisha. So helpful, polite, and resolved my issue in few hours. Hopefully they recruit such calibers at the exams sites

Soooo expensive , it's not worth what you pay for .. however the IELTS examiners are so mean and careless , it's extremely worthless to have any course here if you had a course in the US , UK , Canada , Australia or Newzeland it won't cost you this much

You need to read this If you are taking IELTS!!!
First of all they are not an educational center, they are not charitable organization, THEY ARE DIPLOMATIC EMISSION AS PER THEIR LICENSE IN THE UAE!! So, they really don't care about you as a customer or a student!!!
They know very well that most of candidates are doing it recently for Canada Immigration and they will not give 6 in the four sections of the exam, make sure that they will give 5.5 in listening or speaking to force you retaking it, this has been the case with me FOR MANY DIFFERENT IELTS EXAMS, they won't provide you with your checked copy to know why you got such a low mark, the only option is to recheck the result in UK and you pay 400 AED and will take about 8 weeks. Waste of time and money.
My Enquiry on Result Report from UK came up and I got 1 full mark higher than what rewarded by British Council Dubai (report attached).
Very disappointing how they work, their defective marking caused me a lifetime chance to migrate to Canada as my IELTS report wasn't ready on time.
When I escalated the matter to the IELTS Regional Examination Manager his brilliant justification was "results and marks rewarded are subject to objectivity".
Your life, plans, money and time for them is a subject to objectivity!!!!
