Some good deals. Bargaining is the key. The vendors are a little aggressive and the merchandise is marked up very high. The spices are really expensive.

A must stop at the creek.
It might not be the most fancy restaurant ever, and walking in there Its not that exiting. But the food is good, the prices are fair, and the placement out in the creek is unique. So go there, order something you don't know what is, and enjoy the atusmphere

Good grilled food overlooking the creek. Portion served are more than adequate. The 7 of us shared 3 plates of fried rice, a mixed grill platter. The sound of motor boats, the gentle breeze and the lapping sound of the waves increased our appetite!

Nice lunch and nice location for this restaurant. Very touristic, but the waiters at fast and helpful and food is ok. You can have fresh fish and traditional plates. We had lunch outside by the water and it was relaxing after an exhausting morning in the souks.

Had really nice lunch here. Right by the water and if you get cold you can get a blanket! The food was really reasonably-priced and tasted so delicious! The lovely service just rounded everything up.

Very nice place with amazing view, friendly staff, the place is suitable for families and groups located in a nice historical market. The best timing is an hour before sunset, the seagulls were nice part of Dubai Creek wonderful view.
I didn't try the seafood but the grilled dishes were good.

Nice ambiance, friendly staff and good food overlooking the creek view. Perhaps one of the best restaurants having the view of creek. Mostly busy, so if you are planning to visit for lunch /dinner try to make a reservation to avoid the waiting.

Great ambience. Amazing location next to water front and you can feel old Dubai and relax having a glass of lemonade in your hand. Would highly recommend.

Great views of Old Dubai and the abras. Good food for a decent price. Ask for the free Wi-Fi code. I would recommend the lemon and mint juice, falafel, Arabic salad and the grilled boneless chicken.

A charming but more-than-moderately priced waterfront restaurant with quick service and satisfactory portions.

Iftar menu for 69 dirham was a great deal! Portions were big and we divided by 3 without being able to finish it. We also tried the humus with chicken and a Cesar salad that came in very big portion. The staff is nice but could make an effort more to smile. Location is amazing! Just by the creek with a bit of breeze that, in Dubai weather, is a life saver :)

The place takes you back to the yester years of Dubai, when life was not so fast and people used to sit beside the creek and stare away into space.

The food options are also apt to the location. Great service and the manager comes to your table for that extra personal touch.

It is also wheelchair friendly. Recommend it!!

Over-priced mediocre Arabic fare. I give one star for the location (nice view, in the heart of Old Souk). The staff give less priority to Asians if white folks are around. If you have more time, patience and want of adventure, you'll have a better experience at Al Bait AlQadeem (which I gave a review of also).

If you're with first timers in Dubai, this is one of the places that you have to take them. It's situated at a former Dubai Creek dock so it gives you good views. The food is good but the add to it would be the view of the creek and the dhows and abras that passes by as you eat those lamb chops.
