This company reacts like shameless bunch of people when you try to get your security deposit back - 3 months since i vacated my flat in discovery gardens but they dont seem to have a clue as to when can a tenant reasonably expect the refundevery time giving standard answer like patience is appreciated

Would recommend to stay away from them unless you are prepared to write off your deposit amount..

The real estate valuation service from Asteco is first-rate. The produced a property valuation report for my US tax reporting. The valuations department delivered an extensive report that was accepted by the IRS without question. A very professional firm that unusual in this part of the world. Would give 10 stars if possible.

I have lived in an Asteco managed property for about 3 years and find they are professional and take care of any issues at my apartment. They made it easy when renewing my rental contract. The admin staff in the Sheikh Zayed office are so helpful.

I wish I can give them zero stars or even negative, rented from them in discovery gardens – Dubai, after 4 years of renting I left the apartment in excellent condition and they still managed to deduct 50% of the deposit I painted the apartment then they commented on it and I repainted it again, they still rejected it, I should not be charged from painting after renting for 4 years to begin with (that’s the norm in Dubai) yet I still did it, they will never accept your paint and will always charge you for it double the market price on the basis that their standard is different (it’s definitely NOT), some of the other comments are the lights I used are white and their standard is yellow and they charged me for the light bulbs replacement in addition they started to say that their procedure calls for some sort of deep apartment cleaning and they have to charge me for it, in addition they asked where is the pest control certificate from Dubai municipality and why I didn’t do it and now they have to charge me for it, in addition to other made up reasons .
In short they take your deposit and they full heartedly don’t intend to return it, they will do whatever to keep that money with them and regardless what you do they will deduct from you around 50% even if you return the apartment in better condition than you got it from them. I even asked them how many managed to get the full deposit amount in the last year and they dodged that question.
To be fair, receiving the apartment and getting / completing the initial paper work are smoother than renting from smaller office or individuals but they are definitely more expensive and they have a lot of fine prints when you sign the contract and they will defiantly get you with some additional fees here or there on some made up reasons and you won’t be able to do anything other than write a review.

If I could give them a Zero, I would have.
They represent the thieves of the 21st century, thriving on your deposits to make money wherever and whenever they can.

Horrible Service, Horrible Interaction and Support,
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM WHATSOEVER.

Deduction on lighting bulbs and painting is unheard of before.
They tried deducting this up until we pointed out to the fact that it's not mentioned in the terms and conditions.

Once they failed in pointing out to where these terms are mentioned, they started playing the DEWA game. They mentioned that the final DEWA bill was sent to them 3 days after the tenancy contract ended, so they'll have to charge RENT for every late day. (DEWA final bill was generated a week before the tenancy contract since we moved before the end of the tenancy contract).

This company mistreats its customers, so why deal with such a company when there are hundreds of other better companies that respect your tenancy and do not sneakily come up with deductions to make more money.
