The Al reem lounge is a very good place to. Recharge before the connecting flight. The food was very good. Seating space is very unique but there is no view.

I like the lounge. It can be really busy at times and then it’s hard to get a seat but it’s still better than spending 4h outside in the tiny foodcourt. The food in the lounge is really nice but it is lacking vegetarian options. Almost all dishes even the salads have meat in it, so we usually settle for cheese, hummus and rice. The staff there is super nice and friendly. Also you can have a shower which is quite nice after a 7-10h flight and the bathrooms are top notch. Very modern and clean.

It's good place to relax and have some food and drinks before boarding long haul flight from Abu Dhabi. Though smaller than other priority lounges in regions airport, but good one.

A good lounge to relax and kick back in between flights. It is very accessible to terminal 3 (10 minute walk). The service from the check in receptionist was warm and courteous. The buffet selection was good. Despite arriving after 12 pm, the food was freshly cooked. There is ample seating. The bathrooms are tidy. The available shower is very convenient. Small details in the bathroom stall such as courtesy toothbrush and toothpaste is significant to me. I used my credit card benefits for this lounge, but I would happily pay to use for 2hours if I needed to. An oasis while in transit is invaluable.

One of the good lounges in Abu Dhabi for Priority pass members and Etihad silver guys, if you take financial matters.
I felt there are good options for drinks but relatively less options for eating and even lesser if you are a vegetarian.
Pros :
1. Good drinks, serving is very good.
2. Ambience is nice.
3. Washrooms are neat and good.
4. Availability of Smoking room.
Cons :
1. Please encourage even vegetarian food, atleast put couple of dishes.

This lounge is not great.
If you have to choose between this and Al Dhabi, go for Al Dhabi. This is a tiny and cozy lounge, yes, but the food spread is also very limited. For female there're only 2 toilets and 1 shower room. But then again if you like a lounge that's quieter this might be for you.response / report this review -

Do not waste your money!!!!
Ridiculous prices in this lounge and you're actually not 'allowed' to sleep?
I was in the lounge when it was over half empty and was asleep for over an hour, not harming anyone, for a member of staff to come over and wake me up because I'm not allowed to sleep over two seats? Fair enough if the seat was needed because the lounge was busy but it was half empty.

Calm and quite relaxing place ! Had a great experience post 16 hours of travel from Ireland ! Superb spreads for dine, clean furnitures, spic and spine Toilets. Cool ranges of drinks ! Loved it

Definitely below standard lounge and staff is not too co-operative too.

Unless you can get in for free, rather don't waste your money. The lounge is always overcrowded (I have been here 15 times at least) there is only one toilet which is totally ridiculous for the number of people there and really the food is okay but not for what they charge to fee clients. The staff are friendly enough but the facilities are not good enough.

Decent perk if you can get access through your airline membership. The food is OK, and there is also a bar and showers. The main issue with this lounge is that it is almost always overcrowded. Be prepared to eat your meal standing up especially in the busier times. If you have to pay for this lounge I wouldn't recommend it unless you really have to shower. The other problem is that it is only located in terminal one, which everytime I've been has been 10-15 minutes from my gate. If it were possible to have another Al Reem lounge in terminal 2 or 3 I imagine it would also solve the overcrowding problem.

Decent ambience, friendly staff, comfortable seating with a small toilet. There isn't much in way of choice when it comes to food and drink. Having said that, they were happy to oblige when I did request a freshly made omelette. Lounge club and Dragon pass accepted.

Great fresh food - the hummus here was particularly good. I did have to wait to use the shower in the ladies' but not too long and it was really nice to freshen up between long flights. The lady at the desk did ask us to go inside and check that we were happy with the lounge before we paid so we were able to check there were seats available. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the lounge was crammed full with pretty much every seat taken and everyone's luggage all over the place.

This lounge is a really great perk for silver guest members and you should take advantage for the free food, drinks and WiFi. It also feels like a massive luxury to be able to shower in between flights. The only trouble is, although there's plenty of seats and space, at peak times you'll be fighting for a place to sit down.

The Al Reem lounge at Abu Dhabi airport used to be worthy of a 5 star rating but over the past year the quality has drastically reduced which I think is in large part due to overcrowding. When I first started using this lounge a couple of years ago it was top notch with regards to everything from service to food and drink. Although the standard of service is still high, the seemingly constant crowd ensures you have to wait for everything from getting a drink to using the restroom. Gone are the days when you could enjoy a leisurely shower here after a long flight from the US to Abu Dhabi. I am a big fan of Etihad but they need to increase the capacity of this lounge before the experience deteriorates further.
