Al Qudra lake.. It is a man made lake in the middle of the desert. It is a long drive from the city and the drive is the best part of this trip. If you are lucky you can see some people doing stunts on vehicles enroute. The lake is big but there is nothing much to be done or seen except for some ducks swimming in the shallow water It would be good if you do a barbecue. Else it might not be worth it

Perfect place for family picnic or a BBQ plan with friends.

Forget about your hectic life & enjoy nature in its true form, as it's a pretty remote area so you'll have to bring everything for your trip. You won't find any shop/restaurant near by.

Great place to break from the city. Kids loved it. Different species of birds for kids to learn.
Bring some pick nick chairs with you or mats to seat on. There is no grass area.
Careful on the Google map direction it took us to a different location.

Wonderful place for a complete peace from the hustle of work and tension. Very clean. Lots of birds. U have to get ur own food and drinks as nothing is available here. Also make sure u get some mats or chairs . Follow the rules as police patrol very frequently. Rest room not available as this is complete nature, but u can find rest room nearby in last exit place. So nothing to worry.

Amazing place with calm and peaceful atmosphere. Although the lakes are man made it still looks very nice. There are numerous bird watching enthusiasts that come here all the time for bird spotting. Hope it remains as clean and tidy as it is now. Excellent door for sunrise

The place is about 45 minutes from Dubai and a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city . A group of man made lakes among gaff trees , an ideal setting for a barbecue . The lakes have ducks , swans and geese . Camping sites too . Gets pretty busy over the weekends

This place is so magical. It's worth it! It's so beautiful how the bird flocks are very close to you, how the horse riders are in groups practicing, how clean the place is just BEAUTIFUL!

I say this is one of the best family camping spots in the UAE! It gives you a wild feeling though you are safe since there will be lot of other campers and patrolling in this area. This can be also called a bird watchers delight as you can see lot of birds within this place.

Amazing place to spend the day with your family & friends.No toilets around. Climate is very good.Variety of Birds around You . You can do BBQ and even cooking allowed. NO Entry Fees. Clean the Place when you leave as the area is vast. Carry GPS which is advisable and you will enjoy 4*4 drive if you own it.
