I happened to travel from Muscut to Dubai during Ramadan holidays. I booked my tickets with Al Khanjry for my travel. Their service and bus maintanence was good. The driver guided us well during immigration process. Worth the price! :)

So I regularly travel with this transportation. I have some balid points that I wanna make
1.The constant changes in personal makes it difficult to judge how good their service is. Sometimes the driver is very nice and the guy at the counter is a jerk, sometimes it's the other way around.
2. The bus is comfortable, lots of leg space. But no cup holders though.
3. The travel timing is not very consistent. Sometimes the arrival is in 6 hours, sometimes 4 and on one occasion it was 8 hours.
4. I suggest to arrive and take a good seat an hour in advance. This will make the ride much more bearable.

Beware!
Very bad business!!!!
They are taking the ride from the real bus Omani company Mwasalat which is owned by the Omani government.
Their buses are in terrible condition!!!
They have a good website which you can book and pay online. The picture looks good until you see the state of their buses! Very old, dirty and not maintained!
The real bus company Mwasalat don't take calland the website is not catering for online booking, you just have to turn up at the bus station early and buy tickets. They have proper coaches and in perfect condition for inter country travelling. Not like this company, the standard is less than of a third world country!
This company sets up their business right next to Mwasalat and they just take the ride!
They are active in taking calls but as soon as you say you want to cancel the booking, They
Get angry and aggressive! They stall the refund!
They said that it would take weeks and have to be done in writing!
I did what they asked and they never respond to the email.
I turned up at their office and they wouldn't not refund the money.
On their site, if you click the refund button, it takes you to nowhere!!!!
Not honest company!!!!

I called several times to confirm the location of the buses after I purchased my ticket online. After multiple calls, an attendant picked up grudgingly gave me the direction that was not exactly helpful. I finally found the bus, and stepped down to get some snack, to realize the bus has left with my bag and everything, even though I spoke to the driver and the conductor that I'm stepping down to the shop across from where the bus is. It took a lot of plea for me to finally track the bus and get back my stuff
A really harrowing and frustrating experience and all that for a rundown bus with bad service!response / report this review -

Took a trip from muscat to dubai and it was very comfortable and speedy, when we reached immigration office there was dedicated que for khanjry transport only which made the process quick and privileged 😊
Seats were comfortable and driver was very cooperative.

Took a trip from Dubai to Oman. Bus was comfortable, clean and air conditioned. Bus driver was friendly. They do stop at random spots to drop people off once you get to Oman, so didn't arrive exactly at 9pm. Overall great experience for a budget bus journey.

worst service.. i have boocked ticket 2 days before but on the day of departure there is no seat for me, saying to go in next bus. also the guys loocking after the bus is not in a systematic manner.

Bus Dubai-Muscat and vice versa. Very nice people. Cheaper and better than plane, lots of legroom, pretty sights along the way and no hassle. Leaves just before Mwasalat so arrives earlier too. Exact location is N 25°15.639' , E 055°19.797'. There is a restaurant just behind whre the bus leaves, for an early breakfast.

Old buses, poorly maintained, not cleaned and fare is higher than Mwaslat transport whose office is just few shops away from khanjari and the Mwaslat travels have less fare and have latest Mercedes Benz buses with toilets inside the bus. Also the khanjari staff members were very rude and arrogant with the customers.
