It's an amazing experience. .. long walk I visited on 27.4.2018 . Weather was hot but in tht greeny didn't feel so. It's recommended to go in joggers as there is long walk . This time is good to go as fruits are hanging on trees and it's look awesome. Best time is to go at 8 am when it's open.. you can listen sounds of birds. You should carry water bottle. 1 restaurant is at entrance gate which is very good. You can not find any restaurant after entrance gate. For kids take cycle from outside. Highly recommended place.
Entrance is free. Beautiful green place, palms, birds, cats and even dogs! (I've been traveling in UAE for 2 weeks, but never seen a single dogs before). We took lots of pictures there.
But after ~15 minutes walk, started to suspect that everything is the same - just bunch of palms, grass and irrigation canals. They give a map, but it's hard to use it - all the paths looks the same and lack of signs. We really tried to find some old fort, but didn't find anything except walls with barbed wire on top of it - was that the fort? There was some museum as well, but again - we haven't seen it.
I'm a bit disappointed. The Oasis look like it is still not 100% finished. The guiding Sings are useless most of the time. Garbage is laying around in the green. We managed to walk into a big area with gravel from a normal path from inside the Oasis. -- if you just want to walk a bit in a very quiet area you should go there.
We visited this beautiful place in the morning when it was cooler. It's quiet, and interesting. We had a guide around the 1st part who was friendly and welcoming. We walked into the Oasis and right in the centre we found a little cafe with a lovely happy young man working there. We drank tea, coffee, aloe Vera juice and ate the most amazing banana cake it was a wonderful few hours visit
Pure paradise. Calm, green, birds singing just wonderful.
The restaurant/café could be better though. More items on offer and putting it into or closer to one of the gardens would be nice.
Lovely place. We thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't want to leave. The place is so calm and relaxing. The wet soil and shades of palm tree really gives you a different perspective of this so called desert land. It is a huge place and entry is free. So there is no reason why you don't want to go there, especially if you are a visitor to Al Ain. There is a shuttle service at the entrance, which you can call anytime for nominal charges, if you are tired of walking.
A very peaceful walk through the old date plantations. There are plenty of rest rooms along the way. Be sure to check out the national museum at the end of the walk. Keep 2 hours aside for the oasis walk. You can also hire a buggy ride if you prefer not to walk. The pathway is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
Peaceful place to come and roam. Best time is to come during the early morning as the temperature is not high. Also I would recommend to bring some light snacks and water along. You can take the bicycle on rent to roam on little price. There are different gates to enter. Don't forget to take the guide book from the security personel otherwise it would be very difficult to locate inside places.
Al Ain Oasis has the potential to be a good tourist destination but the signboards to places inside must be placed because inside its like a maze and its difficult to find one place to another.
Just ok.nothing much to do.searched for the spring but cannot be found.all dried.Good for a walk.Dont expect much.
