I had a bad experience and i am so disappointed..This not to shame the company.. The receptionist was so nice and polite to me..
What happen was i went to phone someone regarding what i want to check regarding my hepa B IMMUNITY. before i visited the clinic.. as i was asking to the guy on the phone an indian guy i was asking and explaining to him if they have hep B titer and he replied "yes" only.. And also shared that i have completed my 4 doses of vaccinations already including the booster so i need to check my immunity..ok yes he replied.. Then i said ok i will be their in 15 mins.. .
And as far as i know the word "titer" means it is to check the concentration of antibodies made by your body upon introduction of a certain virus either weakened through vaccination or being infected..
The problem was instead of checking my blood for hep b titer hbsab.. What they did was checking my blood for antigen hbsag if i am positive or negative
hBsAb- hep B titer l-checking for antibody titer
hBsag- Hepatitis Test- to diagnose if infected
My mistake was i didnt not saw right away the reciept because it was handed when my blood is about to be drawn.. So i kept it folded it.. Then upon ariving home i went to check it and i saw it was hbsag.. So i phoned them right away to clarify that what i need is to check my titer I did not say i want to check if im infected I said hep titer and to check my immunity Titer itself is self explanatory..
Then upon phoning them a couple of hours then asking for my result.. They said that i. Am negative.. And i said what?? I know i am negative since i may not be given an emirates ID if im positive since it is already screened by seha What i asked is for hepa b titer to check my immunity
And they keep on passing the phone when i talk.. 2 filipino people i talked and they were very rude to measking if i have knowledge about the test.. If what is my profession.. Why would you need to include my knowledge and profession in this kind of problem in the first place.. I was asking why did u do hepa b test instead of hepa b titer.. And they keep on saying in tagalog alam mo ba yung titer sir?? Or do you know what a titer is?? And i answered yes.. It is to check my antibody.. For me i felt like i was asked impolitely since it is like i have no knowledge of what i went for
Then they passed it to an indian guy which i spoked to in the beggining when i was still asking and explaining.. He lied to me right away telling me that he explained it to me.. How come?? The only word i heard was yes And when i was their ive been standing for 10 mins.. He was so busy.. And he said he explained it to me????
But for me nothing is personal I am just disappointed of how they handled me when i was asking for an explanation.. I thank the filipino receptionist for being calm and listening politely
