I recently moved from London to Abu Dhabi and was recommended Acorn for shipment of my luggage. I was very impressed that I received my 4 suitcases in about a week and a half, quicker than the estimated time. They pick up your goods and also deliver to your door which is great. It can be very tedious relocating, so ask all the questions you need to in order to fully understand the shipping process and ensure you have a printer to print off the required labels! Muhammed was very responsive over email, helpful and patient with my many queries. Thanks for all your help and I’d definitely use Acorn again!

I used Accorn Movers to ship some boxes from Abu Dhabi to the UK.
We were estimated 6 weeks delivery time but the boxes arrived after 2 months
When the boxes arrived to the UK, we were told that we had to pay congestion charges before they can be delivered.
When the delivery finally arrived after paying the congestion charges, the boxes were dumped on a palette on the pavement outside the house and not delivered into the home like told at booking. So this is not exactly a door to door service like sold.
The packers were helpful in Abu Dhabi and helped with the packaging and labelling of the boxes. The cost was reasonable for the items that were shipped.response / report this review -

used them to move to UK. few of our items were damages such as bedside table and wardrobe.
plus they sent me an extra bill for port congestions charge although I had door to door contract with no exclusion in fees!
but their price was cheaper than other companies so I guess that's the compromiseresponse / report this review -

Thank you Acorn Movers & your entire team for making our international move a pleasant experience. This was the first time we have moved with so much internationally and we were nervous. You guys are amazing as all arrived in great condition specially my rather large crystal collection.

By far the best moving company we have worked with in multiple international and domestic moves. From the very first phone call, Acorn have been super friendly, helpful and flexible, making the whole process a stress-free pleasure. On this occasion we are moving 45 cubic meters of personal goods internationally, the whole team took amazing care of all our items, not just the precious and fragile ones! Very professional, exceeding all our expectations, great value and none of those hidden extras or last minute price hikes! Without hesitation, if there was a next time, we would only call Acorn.

Acorn moved a building model from Dubai to Hongkong and it arrived quickly and safely and nothing was broken. It was really a stress free experience on my part. Superb work! I will definitely contact them again for our future shipments! Thank you Acorn Movers!

Acorn moved us from Dubai to the UK - the experience was start to finish excellent and I happily recommend them. The price was competitive, the move out and move in teams were fast, efficient, professional and friendly and nothing was lost or broken! They made the whole experience stress free!

We used Acorn to move our stuff from Dubai to New Jersey, USA. I'm really happy with the service. Even though Dubai was under lock down due to pandemic, their staff came to pick up our bags and we received them in the USA after only 6 days. Just as promised. Besides it's a good value for money. Highly recommend Acorn Movers. Thank you, guys!

We are loyalty card holders with Acorn because they moved us to & from Dubai twice, 3 times in Dubai and just recently home to Austria. We were initially introduced to them because my company at the time (Atlantis The Palm) retained them as their moving company for staff relocating to Dubai . They are a great team. Fast, efficient and great at packing (not a single breakage on our recent move). Best of all our container arrived in Austria just 5 weeks after departure from Dubai! Highly recommend. Very competitively priced too.

I used acron movers for local service within Dubai , their timing and handling was super accurate and professional , the crew was a team of 6 which makes the job very fast ( for 1 bhk it tooks from them around 5 hours)
Easy of doing the deal , online payment and agreement facilitating a quick proccess.

ATTENTION - most of these “positive 5 star” reviews are accounts setup by the company or their friends to try to pretend that are a good company. Click on the “positive” reviewers past history and they only reviewed Acorn. Hahaha such rookies! The worst company ever! Please do more research and you will find that this company is a joke. Give away your furniture rather than have these people move anything. I read that they steal and break things too. Check other review websites about them.

PLEASE READ THIS - I am taking time out of my day to tell you DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. I haven't even shipped out my furniture and It's a nightmare.
1) Communication is poor and not consistent.
2) No alignement amongst each other
3) Focused on collecting money not you as a customer.
4) Showed up 4 hours late without a call of acknowledgement or apology.
5) They still haven't recorded my city that I am traveling to.just the country.
6) Clueless call centre team - except the packing crew were good.
Moving is stressful. It takes a toll on all of us. Moving companies should be supportive and assurimg in their customet service. Acorn is a stressful and unprofessional. I would rather pay the airlines and lose more money than deal with Acorn ever again.
God only knows what the outcome of my delivery is.

I used Acorn Removers to relocate back to the UK from Dubai. I found the company to be very friendly and professional. The manager was always available to take calls and explained the process clearly from the outset so there would be no misunderstandings. The packers were superb . I brought back china and glass with me. There was absolutely no damage to my consignment. The UK part of the company contacted me once my shipment had been released and arranged delivery. It all went very smoothly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and would certainly use them again. Thank you for an excellent job.

Excellent service from UK to Abu Dhabi. Cos Freight, the company i booked with in London provided excellent service during my move, communication was good in addition to the team that came to pack our belongings, who worked very hard in to the evening. Their Dubai counterparts, again provided very good communication when my belongings arrived, they dealt and handled my delivery with the care and attention I would expect. Both companies would be well recommended.

The team were fantastic. Fast and efficient and completely reliable. They were on time and so helpful - they would not let me do a thing to help!
Our large sofa had to be carried down 5 flights of stairs and then UP 13 flights to the new apartment and this was done without complaint or grumble.

Acorn were the agent for when may stuff arrived from the UK. They kept me informed at each stage and were flexible with the delivery. I knew there would be a custom charge, but this was easily and swiftly dealt with. On the day they arrived early and were very efficient and helpful. They unwrapped everything and even helped move a couple of items that were already in our apartment to accommodate the new stuff.

NEVER use this moving company! They rush and are careless with your stuff. They have cut my sofa and broken my brand new Samsung home theatre. I am extremely disappointed and even though they advertise their expertise they behave like amateurs. Horrible service!!! No star would be more accurate!

They've moved me three times, and we've had storage needs during every move. impeccable staff, fantastic service and so so good! Finally someone has got it right out here! my brother has to move last October from Dubai to Manchester we received good condition allover , they are best for move locally and internationally there are no problem ,,they gave us great services ,, thanks acorn groups.

Don't use ACORN MOVERS . They are lairs! Damaged my shipment and lost the most valuable item. They don't care about you and your shipment as soon as they receive money in their account. Please use any other shipping company but not horrible ACORN Movers!
