KG to Grade 8:
Do not let your child go to this school if he/she is between KG and Grade 8. For KG, Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2, the students barely learn anything and instead play around. The recess is very unorganized, they basically just throw a bunch of kinds into a very small area running around. Grade 3 to 5 is ok, but fights usually occur between the idiots (their are a LOT of them).
Grade 6 and 7 is ok. They are given good education and fights dont happen.
Grade 8 is fine. The Math Teacher is some idiot who walks around class while everyone is running around, and just shouts at them for 1 second, then turns around and starts shouting at others. It is madness. No one learns and she can not teach. She does not know the subject herself. English and Science are very good. Arabic is also pretty good. PE teacher is a racist idiot. Computer is fine.

Grade 9+ is where this school begins to shine. Teachers are really good, everyone is focused in classes, no fights. I highly recommend this school for a student who is Grade 9+.

This school is also very unorganized. We get around 1-3 field trips a year, and there are a few troublemakers.
They also overwork students. They give us plenty of homework and make studying a real pain in the ass. They make us study more than we are supposed to, up to the point where it actually hurts.

So yeah, terrible for KG-Grade 2.
Fine for Grade 3 to 5.
Good for Grade 6 and 7.
OK for Grade 8.
Almost Excellent for Grade 9-12.

I’ve been a student in this school for more than 10 years, but would never even think about giving it 5 stars. Generally, however, the school does offer a variety of curricula such as the IB Program and the British IGCSE Program, so it’s doing great in terms of education. The only thing that frustrates me is the amount of homework and assignments students are given. There’s no point in giving students this much work as it can stress students and hinder their academic performance. If the administration works on this issue and comes up with a better schedule that suits students’ daily lives, then I’d give it 5 stars. This school is the most of what you can get with your money, as it’s relatively inexpensive, and secures a position for highly rated universities and future careers.

As a student for 5+ years at this school, I would say that it's a good school overall but still has flaws that can and should be fixed. The administration needs to improve the way they deal with problems occurring in the school as their current method is not so efficient. Some teachers treat students as adults forgetting they're in fact just teenagers that are still growing and progressing. Fixing those two problems and some others would make me give this school 4 stars if not 5.

So, AIS used to be this HUGELY popular school around Abu Dhabi, and everyone thought it was AMAZING. Well, it USED to be. I remember back in the days this school was a pleasure. But it is not what it used to be. I am not saying it is bad, I am saying it is not this special amazing school anymore. Pretty much all students swear, and the teachers pretend not to notice. Most of the teachers are sexist, and are not afraid to show it. The buildings are rusting and the rooms are kinda falling apart. They also raised the prices for anything in the canteen and in the bookstores. The education is good, but the teachers aren't exactly welcoming and kind, not to boys at least. Bullying doesn't occur, and neither do fights often happen. I have been in this school for 11 years, so I have experience. Most of the staff and all people in the administration, including the principal, are good at their job. This school is not bad, just not amazing.

The school is very good but the teachers get upset at students for tiny stupid reasons and it is not good. The other thing that isn't good is that once they only let 2 people (from each class) to go to a field trip, which is VERY unfair.

I'm going to be completely honest now. I think that this school is a very good one, compared to others, but it still isn't the best. Some of the teachers (the small minority) are very oblivious to the fact that students, are in fact, still children. They get bored, tired, annoyed, and restless just the same as everyone else. They have interests, and if they dont feel intrigued, they won't try their best. THIS ISNT A VALID ENOUGH REASON TO PUNISH THEM. I am a very honest person, and i think teachers can do better to encourage students to try harder. And stress is a big problem too (i don't get stressed easily, but most of the people i know do). But education wise and friendliness is quite good. (especially math and science). Fights do happen, but most teachers try their best to stop them, and everyone i know has at least two friends. Personally, the biggest problem i struggle with is boredom. i think that the system is quite narrow minded, and i would appreciate if it changed. Have an amazing day!

Look, I am the most honest person here. This school USED to be one of the best schools. People graduated here easily, and became doctors or even architects. But to be completely honest, this school has gone downhill, meaning it has and is still becoming worse. There are many good teachers, however, a lot of teachers are really bad and just dont really know what they are doing. The school is old and is rusting a little. It is also quite small, and there has been violence (fights). I am a student here and to be honest, this school is quite average at the moment. People here swear a lot and even say out load sexual phrases and then the teachers pretend not to notice. Some teachers try to get students in trouble ON PURPOSE, and others are just too light, meaning they can not really control the class. Bullying has actually occured a few times as well. This school is also WAYYY too expensive. However, most teachers are good and know what they are doing ( Math, Science), and the education is pretty good to be hones with you. They also give you quite challenging homework and there are many opportunities for sports such as basketball and most importantly football.

I'd give this school 4 stars as the education curriculum isn't superior but fairly good. The school offers two locations according to the person's needs. Only bad thing, as another review mentioned, is that they only allow 2 people (from each class) to go on a field trip. Literally unfair from my perspective. 😭😭

Excellent education
Good teachers,but the only 2 problems are that the school is espesive and that they made the time that only 3 people from each class get to go to a field trip it is so unfair for the people who are educated and respectful to not go because of this silly rule
