Facility is closed for visitors. I visited last week to see Jupiter Saturn conjunction but found it was closed and they didn't allowed us to use our telescope inside their fence. rules respected. so visit only when it is open for public..
Magic and Awesome
My dream will come true if i visit this place 😍
A super informative event with astronomer Adrin! I took my family there for a birthday celebration and we all had a very good time. Highly recommended!
Great time spent with friends and family watching the meteors tonight
Great atmosphere
Away from light and noisy cars and the city
Great opportunity to see they sky and stars shine.
Would love to visit again and see their great work.
Excellent experience, and a real moment of respite from urban lights.
A very brilliant idea to watch the stars in a nearby desert of Abu Dhabi
A nice place to visit especially for astronomy lovers dont miss out to watch the sky through the 16" Meade LX 850 telescope mounted in the center of the dome. The view is amazing..
Open sky party through the night with good presentations. Heavily equiped with telescopes, lessons with tough skilled staff. Thank for your job guys! Hope to see you again.
Not great, the neighborhood is quite lit and so you don't get the best view. Lots of rats and other rodents around if you are planning to camp overnight.
A very small observatory. We didn't get to go inside, so don't know about their equipment. A little bit off the track and the last stretch is just a gravel/muddy path. It was not too much isolated since there wes still plenty of light on the horizon.
We had a little trouble finding the place since there was no signboard & that it looks like a residential property, I guess it is. Most importantly, there are no stores nearby, so you better bring your own food and water. But there is gas station like 2 or 3 km before.
Very small observatory, extreamly high light considering for observatory; in a way that you will see only twenty five percent of the sky with stars all rest will be light. No signal or directions to the location. Crouded event with all cars lighting up which made it impossible to watch the stars.
Great location outside of town off the main road but easy to find. Full dome with modern telescope setup, camping area, classroom area, kitchen, and parking complete the location. Several staff members I met were friendly and knowledgeable. Helped me understand "super moons".
Place does not carry any sign or board. The location though reached by a dirt road has settlements around which lights up the sky. There are a few 100 mm telescopes through which one can get to see a spot of Jupiter 3 mm in diameter.
Expensive for what offers and way too much light pollution to observe something.
Very nice place and feel so good for astronomers enthusiasm!!!
Beautiful location . Away from city .
