Beautiful place found out of no where with decent and lovely people

This is a fantastic place to visit. Our day there yesterday was brilliant from start to finish. Our driver collected us and drove us out to the centre. We went on a hour bike ride to the caves on Fat Boy Bikes. Our bike guide was excellent and very professional. Water was provided and a jeep followed us.
After tea in the cafe we went out on a Dune ride to the Fossil rock in the Landrover. It was just the right kind of scariness. Exciting but safe. Lunch next with an excellent omelette. The food alone is a good reason to visit the centre. We visited the museum next and were entranced by the hands on learning experiences there. The archeological finds from the site are just amazing. Then it was back to the cafe for vanilla bean ice cream! After a final visit to the viewing platform, our driver took us back via the Fort. Great place, great staff and a great experience for an English visitor!response / report this review -

I wouldn't call this place a must visit, but if you have some time to spare and are curious to explore the bronze age history of the uae, then I would recommend this place. It's a great space to walk around in and work in but apart from that it's hard to get any other information here.

It is nice to visit if you are in the vicinity, you can definitely tell that a lot of effort has been made to create this heritage site. You get to see some of the history and archaeology of the area of Mleiha in Sharjah but it is quite the drive to get there and the exhibition could be a bit larger to make this a more attractive tourist destination.

It's an amazing historical place to know more about the time-line of the region. It's an eye opening place where you discovers many historical facts of the region. I loved this place.

Nice place to visit. The museum is interesting and well maintained. They should however privide transport to the different location as they are quite far apart and the paths are not suitable for every vehicle.
