Very nice place to practice snowboard or ski, not very expensive restaurants and rent, also they have lockers
Slow to open lifts and runs on the Friday left us disappointed, but eventually things for underway and the number of lifts and skiable runs increased and the lines of people reduced.
Fair prices, nice food
Great getaway place for the weekend..
Great place not only for skying, but also during the summer, where you find many attractions for kids and walking trails to do hiking tours. During ski season, it is a great place for beginners, but also experienced skiers. Parking is quite large, so as a part of a service a little train can take you from parking directly to ski resort. We use to go there regularly from Barcelona, which is approximatelly 200 km
Gran lloc per a estiu i hivern
Bona oferta d'activitats i gastronòmica
Great ski lodge with amazing views of the mountains.
Magnificas instalaciones para todos los nivels
Excelente
This is the perfect place if you are a beginner. It may be great as well for more advanced skiers - I will be able to tell you in a few years.
There is ample free parking, albeit amply disorganised. The flyer at the hotel advertises VIP spaces at €10 a day. Let me know if anyone finds them.
The central services area is ample and well appointed. Technology, however, hasn't quite arrived to Andorra's ski slopes yet so don't expect WiFi or to be able to transact or book via your phone. Want to collect your ski pass? That'll be a 15 minute queue. Want to book a lesson? That'll be another queue. None of this is particularly unexpected but one wishes there would be less queueing and more skiing.
The food can be superb - every food area we visited had a roaring wood fire where burgers and steaks were cooked to order. Mistakes can be made - just try and order the pasta - but if you stick to the grill you'll enjoy the food. If you can find a seat, that is. Seating areas are too small, and people hog seats from the early morning for "my family, who are about to arrive".
A great ski place and good services. If only they were managed a bit more rigorously, it would be a whole 5 stars.
Ideal para familias, pocas pistas si ya controlas mucho
