Once a working dairy farm, Wind Beneath Our Wings LLC was purchased by Susan Weiland in 2000 and soon became the pride of her family's lives. Piece by Piece, Susan and her husband Jim began to renovate the barn with the help of her parents, Lloyd and Holly and soon turned a rundown barn into a working hobby farm. Susan and her daughter spent countless hours enjoying their horses and always found ways to restore the barn's old character.
In 2012, Susan and her daughter got the idea to start cleaning out the top of the barn and soon the potential began to unfold. It became very apparent to Susan that her barn had the capability of being an incredible venue for weddings and other special events. In the midst of this new idea, Susan lost both of her parents within one year. When it came to naming the barn, she wanted it to be a tribute to her mom and dad. It was through their support and guidance that she was able to obtain such a wonderful asset in her life. They truly were the Wind Beneath Our Wings.
