Great treatment at very reasonable costs. VCU is the place to go for your dental needs. I have been going there since 2012 and never had a bad experience. Try it.

At the Advanced Education Practice, the front desk staff is always considerate, polite and friendly. The Providers are caring and skilled. The experience is always great, even when I've been in pain. I feel they care and want to help me have a positive experience.

I love this facility! Parking on the street is a bear but they do have a parking garage across the street. Overall this is the best place to go for all your dental needs!!!

My sister had 2 strokes, it was hard to find a dentist that would take the time because of her disabilities to take her on as a patient un til i took her tovcu dental care. The students and doctors took the time to explain to me what I needed to do to continue the dental care for her. They was patient talked to her even though she could not hear, they wrote down on a pad to covey the message to her , so she would not fill left out. They put me in the right direction to further my sister's treatment.

I have been a patient of the dental school for many years. In fact I have relied on the Dental School for all of my Dental treatment for all those years. From Cleaning to Implants, Surgery, Gums as well as Oral care. I have been so satisfied. Where else do you have two or three people giving you you there Best for the same end result. A good Grade. Professors as well as assistants and students striving to see you get the very best treatment for your dental care.

My 2.5 year old daughter loved her first visit to the dentist. The assistants and dentists were friendly, patient, and awesome. They helped calm my daughter down, let me sit and hold her, and didn't rush us or order us around. They made the trip a zero stress event.

Amazing! Lots of distractions in the waiting room for kids, and children get to grab a toy on the way out.

My children have been seeing the Dentists at VCU Dental Care since they were 5 and 6 years old. We're always thrilled with the service, and courtesy of the staff. They're GREAT with kids!!!!

If you are fortunate to get Nurse Valerie, she was amazing! I felt like my child was in the Best care, while my child was being up under anesthesia. The staff is super friendly...I appreciate it.

OMG!!!!!! Had it not been for the intervention of one of the doctors I think I would have literally passed out from the unrelenting tenacity of two dental students trying to extract two teeth. To say that they were more focused on extracting the teeth rather than listening to the patient would be an understatement. Giving no communication of what to expect, including when they were going to administer injections, coupled with feeling their way of what to do next was literally a process gone bad. Had the doctor not intervened I suppose I would have eventually gotten up and left. Never, ever will I pay for the privilege of subjecting myself to students, who claimed to only have a year before graduating, who clearly need to be taught to listen to the patient, know when to solicit the doctor's intervention or perhaps just choose another profession.

Very very good practices. These are students with a bright future. My only criticism is that some of them tend to ask the patient a question and then turn to talk to a colleague while the patient is trying to answer. This bad habit has messed up my medical histories there twice. Slow down. LISTEN to your patients. Take notes, ask followups if you have to, consult if need be, and don't assume. Other than that, they seem very well prepared in their clinical craft, and I have confidence in them.
