  A useless and terrible pedicure: I am going with a two star review for this place , only because I was unfamiliar with the area and went to the wrong place, so I missed the first appointment. Over the phone they seem all agreeable, then the 20-25 year old used tepid water in the foot bath and attempted to scrub calluses I don't have off the bottom of my feet. Ouch! She laughed. What is wrong with people?
  
  Then she does not want to do what I asked and got in a foreign language fight about it with her boss. I guess no one ever told either of them that is extremely rude. He tried to explain her argument to me, so much for what the customer wants. Anyway, I said forget it, and just did a bad job painting my own nails. 25 dollars for that??? Tepid water and the and painful service.
  
  Never again. Also, I did tip because I am a sucker (15 percent) I noticed she managed a "thank you in English. Ugh....what a bad experience. I shall not be returning to this place.

  Seriously the best experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My artist was the friendliest, most outgoing artist I've had and he did such an amazing job on my nails! ❤️

  Andy did such an awesome job on my nails, not to mention letting me make a 5:00 appointment for a full set and pedicure. His wife did a beautiful job on my toes as well. The atmosphere is very relaxing and pretty. Very clean. Very fair and reasonable price. Huge selection of colors. They didnt rush which was my fear making a late appointment. I will certainly be back. Ps massage chairs are super deluxe as well

  I went in for a last minute pedicure and was very impressed with the service! Tokyo Nails is under new management and has left a good first impression. The new staff is not only very welcoming and attentive, but also professional and clean (a must for getting your nails done)! I highly recommend this nails salon!

  I just recently moved back to the buffalo grove area and was looking for a new nail salon. I was short on time and called Tokyo Nails in a panic, less than an hour before they were suppose to close. They encouraged me to come on over, so I did! I actually knew the technician from a previous nail salon in the area, her name is Kim and she does an AMAZING job! Everyone here seems very nice and the customer service is excellent. They took my coat, offered me water and were very friendly, on top of a beautiful pedicure, full set and an eyebrow wax! I highly recommend this salon! :)

  They do a fantastic job. Last time I came here my no chip last 3 weeks before any chips or cracks happened. They spent the time making sure everything was perfect. Very friendly when I walked in. Greeted with smiles and asked if I wanted anything to drink. Would highly recommend coming here.

  This doesn't even deserve 1 star!!! I went to this place for the first time because of being close to my job and the "good" reviews. Well! The majority of my nails tips are crooked. The gel powered is lifted on the sides. You can see my actual nails peeking out on the sides of some of them. 2 of the nail tips are bigger than my fingers. I had to peel off this hard to remove gel from the back of my fingers. The worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I will not be returning.

  Very friendly and professional service I received last night. They will definitely be my go to nail shop as long as I work in the area. The gentleman that did my nails, was very gentle in handling my hands. Which is important to me because I have nerve damage in my hand (did not inform him of this). I got a soak off of an acrylic overlay and manicure for a reasonable price.
