  We set up an appointment a week in advance to come and try on dresses. When we arrived a little early we went over to the prom store to see some of the discontinued items. As we inquired about a few dresses the lady at the desk blatantly told us it was too small for our figures. Not happy, at all after that, left to the main store hoping for better service and more courtesy. As we tried on dresses the staff was cold and not at all helpful, finding a few dresses we liked we were having fun on our without them. Talking through possibilities and what we liked and disliked about each dress. I found a nice 2 piece dress I liked, and tried it on the way it was shown on the model, with a gap to show off the stomach. Going out to the mirrors to get a better look the employee grabbed the skirt hem and yanked it up saying it doesn't get worn like that by sizable people. This was strike 2, I was upset and not happy. Then a few minutes later we were shoved voraciously to a new room after being there maybe a half hour, because a lady called saying shed be there in ten minutes and her daughter was getting married in a week. While I understand the haste, this was absolutely rude, inappropriate, and unprofessional. My final strike was reached, so I got dressed and turned all my focus to my bridesmaid. Finding dresses for her too was also part of what I'd set up the appointment for. But being shoved aside made it that much more difficult. We found some we liked, but will not be making our purchase with Specially Hers.
  
  So ladies, if you find something you like, write down it's information and go to a reputable bridal shop. They may have 30 years, but the staff, makes it seem like nothing.

  Terrible experience, the owner ordered me in some dresses for my bridesmaids, well we didn't choose them. A few months later I decided I liked those dresses to wear for a couple weddings I had to attend. The day I was in there trying them on, Janice & her staff were in there talking about me they had thought I left the store but I was still there! She's rude & inconsiderate, & I will never recommend her store! Go to brides & belles in reedsburg, they are wonderful & professional.

  Have had many a brides maids dresses here and they are wonderful. My mom recently got an anniversary dress, and after being treated rudely by another store (in another town), it was a relief that Specially Hers listened to what she wanted and really helped her find an amazing dress. She was so excited that she found the dress, and wished she never set foot in the "other" stores. The staff is friendly and really knowledgeable. They took the time to listen to her needs and wants, and really worked with her. And I think my mom looks lovely in her new gown!

  Thank you to Jeanette for her help and suggestions today. Beautiful selection of dresses. Purchased my first mother of the bride dress and i love it! Worth a look here for any dress you may need for a special occassion.

  Unique wedding Dresses at a great price! Found my perfect wedding dress here! I stopped in on a whim. Jan was very helpful. Her selection of dresses were impressive. I found a few I really liked. I like that you can look through her inventory yourself. My friend pulled a dress from her sale rack and the moment I put it on I knew. Not only was it Gorgeous but is was only 650!!! I found the perfect dress and it was well under my budget! All of her dresses were gorgeous and inexpensive. I had just been to a bigger bridle store and I felt the dresses here we the same quality for way less! Check out what they have. It is worth it.

  If I could give this place a 0 star I would. From the time I got there she made us very uncomfortable. If you are a bride with a size 20 plus or have any girls that are plus size, highly recommend saving the trip. I wanted to cry by the end of our visit. She kept telling us of course it doesn't fit right and you'd need a bigger size. No bride or bridal party should have to go through that...especially when this day is supposed to make you feel beautiful. I can't remember the sales lady's name I was so disappointed. She also kept telling us to goto the Prom store, they may have a bigger selection. She started saying this immediately. I don't want to goto any store in relationship to this due to the poor customer service and now having worse self esteem issues then we already had.

  What a great experience! I was referred by family and friends to go to Specially Hers when trying to find my wedding dress. This is the first and only dress store that I went to. They listened to what I wanted in a wedding dress and helped me find my dream dress. They were patient with me and I never felt rushed or pressured at any time. We also found my mother's dress there too. Lastly, we found the perfect bridesmaid dresses there! Overall, I had an excellent experience there. I would HIGHLY recommend this to any bride. Thank you Specially Hers for everything!! I will be sending pictures after my wedding. :)

  I can't say anything good about Specially Hers. I was an awful experience there from beginning to end. They don't listen to their customers concerns, only interrupt them repeatedly instead. They kept bragging about how they've been in business for 30 years; however, I have no clue how. They overcharged us when it could have been totally prevented and didn't tell the girls until it was too late to cancel. They ordered too big of sizes I can only assume in hopes of getting more money for the alterations. When a swatch was ordered that also was a nightmare. Nobody knew anything about it even after receiving a call weeks prior it was in the store and the day it was to be picked up. When asked about it, they had to be told to check into it multiple times. They outright lied saying they said they would deliver it when found. Wouldn't you think that after 30 years they'd have a standard place to find all swatches that come in and also not be surprised at the size of them? I won't ever recommend them to anyone and will not set foot in that store ever again.
