I came from NY to breed my GSD , ended up having to do an a.i. and came to north oatlands. I was extremely satisfied with this animal hospital they went over everything in detail as well as giving me all my options and the staff was incredibly friendly .. Prices were extremely fair I would highly recommend this office and the amazing staff!!!!

These guys really care and it shows ! My dog was attacked my another dog , and my heart was shattered , I was scared for his life . The compassion , friendliness , and knowledgeable staff at North Oatlands was exactly what we needed after our terrible experience . I know I'll never take my dog elsewhere and my friend that went with feels the same about his dog now too ! We were ALL grateful for there help and kindness ! Thanks a lot to the staff - you guys really impressed me with your obvious care for animals , and we really loved all the helpful tips for getting it all done easily with a big sick old smart dog !! I hope that cute pup is keeping you all warm this Autumn ;)

Dr Rickard and her staff are outstanding. We live in Hagerstown, MD but our breeder, Debi Durst, recommended it was worth the trip for our 3 Miniature Schnauzers to go there after we had a bad vet experience in our area. We would not go anywhere else because of our great experiences with them. Rosie would have died several years ago had it not been for Dr Rickard's knowledge and expertise. All 3 of our dogs fight to see who can get in their door first. How often do you see dogs that love to go to the vet? All the staff are friendly, caring and love animals. Dr Rickard gives them Cheese Wiz when they are getting shots so, according to Dr Rickard, they have a positive experience and aren't afraid to come to her office.
The doctors do not hesitate to consult with other specialists or experts, and they have even called the vets at dog food companies to verify best type of food for Rosie's medical issues.
I can't say enough good things about them.
Thanks to all the staff.

We've used North Oatlands, and their sister clinic in Dominion Valley, for years for our cats and dogs. They've gotten us through our animals' various health emergencies and chronic conditions with compassion and patience. We've used them for all care, from dentals to yearly exams, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Two of our dogs are very nervous, especially after some bad experiences at our previous vet. They are treated in the most caring and understanding way by all staff at either clinic.

Knowledgeable and Caring! Dr. Rickard is very caring and attentive--and she clearly knows her business. We have a retired military working dog and she knows exactly how to handle him and address his issues. The staff at NOAH is also very caring and friendly.

Fantastic Vets and staff. Very caring and compassionate. They have always been able to get me in quickly and have the one on one relationship that is so often lost in the large clinics. I have used their reproduction services and the equipment is state of the art! The follow up after treatment is second to none. I highly recommend them!

I recently used North Oatlands AH for reproductive services with my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Terra. Each visit, Terra was enthusiastically greeted by the awesome receptionist and was promptly fed treats. All visits were extremely pleasant and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. Dr. Wallace was very easy to work with and explained her plans for my girl's breeding very well.

Dr. Rickard goes the extra mile in discussing and explaining.
Seems I learn something new each visit and get a better understanding of each procedure. The staff is wonderful and very responsive.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Ricard at North Oatlands Animal Hospital! She was so welcoming and patiently answered all my questions. I've had show dogs for many years and many veterinarians, but none as detail oriented and caring as her. She has definitely gained a loyal client!
